Next Season - Agree?

Well since you have already determined our results for next season, we might as well not play at all. You must be fun at parties.

Im saying anywhere from 7 to 11. But 10 is NOT our floor. We just went 10 with the best OFFENSE in the country

And yes im a blast. Invite me NEXT time

What are your 9 wins on this schedule?
we have the better QB & trenches in every single one of those games (maybe ND on the trenches part a toss-up)

outside of ND, we're more talented than every team on that schedule

I'm not saying we're perfect by any means, but we were a competent DC away from potentially going 12-0 this year. Carson Beck isn't cam ward, but I don't get the fear of the ACC schedule

if Hetherman is even remotely solid, we'll be 10-2, I'll never stomach losing to UF or ND, but if we're going to lose 2, I hope they aren't in ACC because we NEED to win the ACC - it's a disgrace it's been this long, if we can't do it with Cam Ward and Carson Beck (just won the SEC a month ago) then what the **** are we doing

Thi team as constructed LOSES to Cal and VA Tech

You guys are UNDERRATING what CAM and X got us out of
Nah... Assuming top 25 Defense. We don't lose either of those.

But yes, Ward bailed us out.. I actually think the D expected this every game, so they didn't play with urgency... not happening next year...

Next year we will probably find ourselves in the usual 8-10 win situation with an outside chance at getting 11…very outside. Need a few more key pieces before we start talking about 10-11 wins imo.

Cam was a magician and we are going to feel the loss of X, Arroyo, and Martinez. I also think we had a very lucky year on the injury front which I doubt happens again.

Only one ACC team is getting in next year unless the ACC kills it in non conference which historically is not a safe bet so that means we have to win our conference.

We might be able to win our conference, on paper we should have the most talent as usual, but until we see how this DC gets our guys playing I see four sure wins on the schedule with two OOC and then a bunch of coin flips.

I suspect when we get to fall our over under is something like 8.5 wins unless there is a windfall of portal talent between now and then.

PSU's roster that just went final four:

Is this group better than what we have signed on for 2025? Warren is a game-changing PROBLEM but other than that..

This is a conversation better had going into fall camp. At that point, we’ll have the second portal window, had a full spring practice, and able to evaluate Beck from summer workouts.

I mean they had 2 of the top 10 players in CFB, with Carter probably being top 5. Denis Sutton will be a R1 next year too (he just opted to return), they have NFL guys in their secondary and 2 NFL backs…

So, yes.

Well yes, but they also only played 2 ranked teams and they were both at home. And then they also got SMU at home in December and Boise in a neutral site.

They're talented, and quite lucky. But you need luck in sports

Yeah I really don’t give a **** about their “luck”. They did what they had to do, that’s all that matters. The question I specifically answered was is their roster better than ours? The answer is yes.

I like Miami's secondary talent after the transfers.

RB I don't think Miami's RBs are special but I am not high on RBs being the difference in team's seasons I weight OL quality much more.

I like Bain and Mesidor next year on the DL now that they won't be stunting out of the play and being sent into coverage but I would agree on Carter being a notch above.

Beck > Allar IMO but debatable

Don’t forget about the best TE in America who finished 7th in heisman voting and had 1200 yards.

And yes, we aren’t done adding guys. I know that. But the odds of us adding someone the caliber of a Carter and/or Warren are extremely slim.

There's no way they are gonna get a guy as good as that TE but I don't think the offense is gonna be so booty that they need a TE good enough to carry the whole offense by himself.

If you’re making straight up win/loss predictions now, you’re assuming A LOT of things. Common sense dictates that the offense will probably not be the best in the nation again and the improvements in the portal along with a new defensive staff should improve the defense but to what extent is just a guess.

You can try to make predictions based solely on the current roster but even that isn’t a finished product yet. There’s likely going to be additions in the spring.

ACC will get 2 teams in CFB playoff again IMO. Miami needs to make the ACC title game, not necessarily win it.

Beck needs to be healthy. Mario didnt pay Hetherman's buyout, and give him a big raise to not inprove dramatically on defense.

Miami needs to split ND/UF, and lose only 1 ACC game.

Miami and Clemson have the 2 best ACC rosters for 2025.

I would take:

Veteran proven high level WR
Veteran proven LB
Starting caliber Safety

Minimum
