Not having our corners up on receivers is a ****ing crime. Not only that but the lack of throwing different looks and packages at the offense is retarded to say the least. When's the last time we rushed 6 or brought a corner off the edge?

We blitzed our corners A LOT against ND, and it never worked. We don't blitz, people complain, we blitz, people either don't see it, or complain. Coach D hasn't shown much, if anything, but at least get the facts right before you complain.

Good point. Coach D may well be hot garbage, but seeing that 2/3rds of our defensive players haven't been on campus more than 15 months, and exactly one of the players that's been in the program for longer than 21 months can be described as "talented", no matter who's coaching the defense, we were going to be one of the 20 worst defenses in college football. These kids barely know what they are supposed to be doing when they are running their base defense, and it's painfully obvious. How the heck are they supposed to start throwing different looks and packages at the offense and not confuse the **** out of themselves further????? There's a reason the defense did reasonably well against GT. That's a simple offense to figure out if you just handle your assignments.

Except that we show our hand everytime we do when our safety is creeping up or running from 20 yards out and doesnt get there in time at all.....Or our LBs walkin up to the gap pre snap and jus getting passed off along the interior OL

I get what you're trying to say but the difference is we play 10 yards off the ball when its 3rd and 5. They are playing off but not that much. A simple slant route will get the first down everytime. And they don't have to blitz because they have NFL talent on their front seven.

If we are just dropping back and waiting for them to make a mistake every single series, what's the point? It's not like we still dont get torched deep anyway. Might as well bring the house. **** say what you want about my opinion, but Va Tech has been doing this for years, even this year where their secondary isnt as good as it usually is.

Tired of these Dorito slurpers keep pointing to LSU and Bama as there safe blanket for teams who run zone.....Sorry but BCC and every other team in CFB runs one form or zone or another, its how and when they use it that makes the difference, not EVERY down coming out in base defense whether its 2 or 3 or 4 WRs on the field....

No team runs just one thing. **** near everyone mixes some man with zone including us. You guys aren't watching. We have played plenty of man to man up in your face and for the most part have been torched. Anyway this isn't even our biggest problem. Our DL get driven 5 yards off the ball and they can't get off blocks. I don't care what you have in the secondary, they will get torched when you give the QB all **** day.
