2028 Neimann Lawrence QB from Ransom Everglades

BTW beat them pretty good. Ransom is playing big schools and beating them though. They were supposed to play Palmer Trinity like every year for the past 50 but that game apparently got cancelled for some reason.

Yeah, Ransom lost 42-13 to BTW, but it wasn't because of Lawrence. They beat Miami Springs 42-8 earlier this year. I had no idea they played bigger public schools. When I was there the public schools we played were Marathon, Coral Shores and Key West. Apparently Booker T. is in their district. As for the Palmer game, I believe it was cancelled because of a storm that was supposed to hit and not rescheduled. On the year Lawrence has completed 66% of his passes for 2200 yards, 28 TD and 6 INT in 8 games. I understand the sentiment that he should or probably will transfer to a bigger program, but as a freshman he has offers from Miami, FSU, Ohio State, Nebraska, Arkansas, TCU, WVU, etc and is going to be ranked one of if not the top QB in the state regardless of where he plays. They've also massively upgraded their talent and the talent around them. This isn't the same Ransom that lost to Hillel 10 years ago. Also, from people at Ransom I've spoken with, he loves the school and is a great student too.

I get you, and I 100% agree. I'm just saying if there is one kid who might stay, it would be him. Not saying he will obviously.

We need to start getting early commitments from the best local kids especially skill guys. They will encourage the national players to come too. Mario doesn't need my advise, but it would be great to see 4-5 star kids line up...........................

Is this kid like a 5 star level?
We played him last night and won 43-31, but I would definitely say yes. His timing is elite, throws a good, accurate ball, really good at working downfield for the open man while outside of the pocket, tough to bring down in open space bc of how stout he is as a runner, and is unstoppable on QB power plays and sneaks. There were times last night when I thought he was throwing the ball away, but ball just kept finding its way to receivers. He’s a tough kid and a competitor.

He runs that Ransom offense very well and they have their system down to a science. But the bottom line is this: Ransom does not have the kind of athletes needed to elevate his play to the next level. I do believe he has potential to be a very special talent as he continues to develop tho. I’m not suggesting it’s the right thing to do (I admire kids who are loyal to a school and the vision of a program in today’s culture), but if he were to transfer to a team loaded with receiving talent like the West, Central, or Chaminade, he could end up being heralded as the best player in the nation for his class.

When it’s all said and done, this kid CANNOT leave the state of Florida. Jit was wearing a UM towel tho, so I already know Mario got that covered lol.
