2028 Neimann Lawrence QB from Ransom Everglades

I’m sorry I know Teddy is there (for now) and northwestern is an awesome school for football but ransom is literally the best academic school in soflo. That’s a hard situation to leave. Get some private qb coaching on the side and play 7v7 if you’re worried about college prep

We played him last night and won 43-31, but I would definitely say yes. His timing is elite, throws a good, accurate ball, really good at working downfield for the open man while outside of the pocket, tough to bring down in open space bc of how stout he is as a runner, and is unstoppable on QB power plays and sneaks. There were times last night when I thought he was throwing the ball away, but ball just kept finding its way to receivers. He’s a tough kid and a competitor.

He runs that Ransom offense very well and they have their system down to a science. But the bottom line is this: Ransom does not have the kind of athletes needed to elevate his play to the next level. I do believe he has potential to be a very special talent as he continues to develop tho. I’m not suggesting it’s the right thing to do (I admire kids who are loyal to a school and the vision of a program in today’s culture), but if he were to transfer to a team loaded with receiving talent like the West, Central, or Chaminade, he could end up being heralded as the best player in the nation for his class.

When it’s all said and done, this kid CANNOT leave the state of Florida. Jit was wearing a UM towel tho, so I already know Mario got that covered lol.
Wtf lmaooo

Best of luck to him, let’s see if the last half of that statement comes to fruition. Throwing to guys like j-rock and Russell definitely helps lol

hE AINT GOING TO COLLEGE TO PLAY SCHOOL.

mnw jv football team has more clout than ransom everglades.

If the kid cared about being a power 5 footbal player he wasnt staying at ransom everglades like i stated from jump lol

The crazy part is ...he will have to fight for the starting qb spot as the qb returns from the championship team.

yea i wouldnt min dhim staying there n it sounds good...butttttttt...when teddy bridgewater or miami central and sta come calling its gonna be hard to say no...as all these ppl kids and parents will be chasing that clout that ransom doesnt providde in south florida football.

Lot of pressure to put on a kid so young to make it athletically. But I hear you

If the kid is serious about football & wants to go P4, there was no way he was going to stay at Ransom.

Who knows as there have been QBs who made it big in college from smaller schools. Not every baller hails from an ESPN top 20 school. I know Northwestern is a perennial national power. But to leave a very strong academic program to NW is not a good decision, long-term. At least go to STA or Columbus. But this is not my decision to make just as I would hope my kid would consider a Virginia, Stanford or Cal over an SEC school. My me 02.

Yeah, Ransom lost 42-13 to BTW, but it wasn't because of Lawrence. They beat Miami Springs 42-8 earlier this year. I had no idea they played bigger public schools. When I was there the public schools we played were Marathon, Coral Shores and Key West. Apparently Booker T. is in their district. As for the Palmer game, I believe it was cancelled because of a storm that was supposed to hit and not rescheduled. On the year Lawrence has completed 66% of his passes for 2200 yards, 28 TD and 6 INT in 8 games. I understand the sentiment that he should or probably will transfer to a bigger program, but as a freshman he has offers from Miami, FSU, Ohio State, Nebraska, Arkansas, TCU, WVU, etc and is going to be ranked one of if not the top QB in the state regardless of where he plays. They've also massively upgraded their talent and the talent around them. This isn't the same Ransom that lost to Hillel 10 years ago. Also, from people at Ransom I've spoken with, he loves the school and is a great student too.

Back in 2023 I underwent PT after my stroke and the PT working with me at the National Rehabilitation Center in DC not only attended Palmetto HS but her dad was Assistant Principal at Ransom-Everglades. She worked my tail off, lol!

His eye hand coordination is a true gift beyond 5 star level now something to be hold .

Miami better do what ever it takes to get a commit or helicopters and Lear jets will landing in his back yard as we speak.

Didn't Teddy just say hes trying to get back into the league and not coming back to the west?

from what I recall reading Teddy was looking to sign with someone for the rest of this current NFL season and then return to the team in January

He probably won’t actually go to school at MNW. A lot of kids go to a different “academy” that doesn’t have a sports program or do home schooling and can play for their home district’s school.

Pretty sure Reuben Bain did this.

If his interest is $$/NIL/bags and making the league, he’s best served by going to a big time school imo. Can he secure those things if he sticks with ransom? Maybe but depends on what his priorities are.

And heck, I went to ransom!

lol you have 305 in your name and really typed that.

These kids are born in the pressure cooker....and ransom everglades aint Miami Northwestern who has also produced athletes and a ton of important ppl academically in the community.

There isnt a football program in south florida that will give him the atmosphere that MNW will give him when he starts not sta nor columbus or any of the privates. MNW just put more ppl at PITBULL stadium than fiu does for the state game with 17k and they typically have 2 games a year with that sort of attendance.
