Frank Gore is the greatest RB in Miami Dade county history!

2,900 yards in DADE County! Enough said.

Best backfield ever….

Mid 90s Ridge! Davis brothers were legit and Sed wasn't bad either.

Duke takes the cake for me...i was in the stands for almost all his games throughout high school. It was like watching a magician find his way into the endzone.

Dukes HS tape is one of the best I've ever seen

that was a good one, no doubt.

in order of the best in south florida high school history:

1. Freddie Miles
2. Frank Gore
3. Duke Johnson
4. Elvis Peacok
5. Joe Brodsky

Throwin' us a curve. Are you old enough to have seen Joe Brodsky? I'm not even old enough. He was almost an old man when I was in high school. I think he was coaching somewhere, maybe Hialeah.

Somebody I've never seen, but whom I've heard a lot about, is Freddie Miles. I would love to see some video.

Noel Devine has to be at least 4th or 5th.

I didn't realize Elvis Peacock was a S fl guy. Good college backfield w him, David Overstreet, and Stanley Wilson. What happened to Freddie Miles? Don't think I've heard of him before

He is better then lil cook.

I still remember my little league team playing the cc chiefs in a tournament and all everyone could talk about was cook. Meanwhile Wright is gashing us for 20 ypc.

I would say the best high school RB from dade would have to be Antwain Easterling from Northwestern. I remember watching this kid run up & down the field making defenders look pathetic. One night when they played NMB this guy took a run through the 2 gap 90 yards untouched for a touchdown, just burned past EVERYONE. He's the best back I've witnessed from any highschool, runner up will be duke(I've actually played against him my senior yr.)

You clearly never saw Frank Gore play HS ball, Antwain. He was 25,000,000x the RB you were.

Frank might be the best HS RB I've ever seen, Antwain. By the hope, I hope you're doing well and put things together after some early struggles. Did you wind up graduating from Southern Miss, or did you ultimately wind up elsewhere?
