We had no depth at corner anyway thats on Golden true freshman corners weren't going to change that... The fact that we didn't have a strong finish on NSD is bc Richt has a lot to prove as well which I don't have a problem with. These kids probably weren't even born when he was calling plays at FSU. And Miami probably has a stigma of being a has heen footbqll program. So I'm excited bc if Richt gets it done then this could be the "worse" NSD under him. Was it bad no.... Beast group of WRs, Beast group of LBs, solid group of safeties, elite QB, and good players sprinkled in other key positions. Its a good class with a lot of talent.

This. Anyone now saying Williams was just a two star or not a big loss is a liar and a dummy.

No sugar coating it, this close was a disappointment
 
They have to win next year and that's all to it. There is too many negatives with miami to expect to land great classes without winning.

Kool just said that he considers Joe Jackson the best DE prospect in the nation.
 
Soft shouldered grown men - strong transition class. Significant upgrade in coaching. 9-10 wins and an agressive defense next year with Richt playcalling - sit back and enjoy
 
So all we did was keep most of the croots and replaced Byrd with Finley

Richt got schooled by Pitt and Tennessee. No other way to cut it

Why does it seem like every single year all the other schools have huge flips in their favor and we on the other hand are the ones handing out those flips, getting nothing in return.

That's not our biggest problem. Losing is our biggest problem. If we come out and win a bunch of games next year we'll be right back. Plus, this class is still pretty solid.
 
This is a good class. It isn't great but is full of good players. We should be happy with it considering the coaching change. There are only two projects I can think of off the top of my head being the OL Johnson who had great measurables and is worth taking a risk on. The second is the DL Martin who coach kool has now committed to two schools. He is also worth the risk.

Agree with $. The class is good, the day disappointing but in the end this is a solid class

-Miami was known for a great DLINE, wants to live up to the standard
-Weather is fantastic
-Has an unprecedented track record in developing kids to the NFL. "The kids just have to buy in and I can get them there"
-Tyreic Martin recruited by Kool at Mizz, just kept in contact with him throughout the process. Believes in his ability "Athletic type of guy with high ceiling. Needs to be developed"
-Bethel is coming in ready to play in terms of weight (265). Big enough to be physical force they need on the line. Great attitude and excited to coach him.
 
Dugans shoulda left Williams ***** *** rot at USF. These kids are ******* punks i'll tell ya. I love the kids we got. Never wavered, true canes.
 
I'd be ok with being light at WR if we got one of Byrd/Carter and another ******* DT.

This is a disaster, especially CB.
