Thomas Brown Excerpt ESPN 3

-Travis Homer "dynamic football player, open field, 3 down RB, can return kicks, great person who comes from a great family"
-Feels good to recruit for The U. Important recruiting kids who wants to come here and put on The U.
-Current RB group "All about competition, respects their past work but they will compete to play. Nothing will be handed"
-Big part of running game is Pass blocking
-"First thing Richt told me at UGA was if you can't block (RB's) you can't play"
-Will go into spring ball and evaluate the offense and see what type of offensive they will hang their hat on
-Jovani Haskins "Basketball frame who brings a lot to the table at TE". Talks about his athleticism
-Fundamentals and Discipline is the most important part for success and talks about creating competition

I know Richt and crew had their backs against the wall with such little time to work, but our biggest needs IMO this recruiting cycle were CB, WR, LB, and OL. Aside from our stellar LB class, did we really make any impact on those other positions?

if we get richards, doesnt that make the williams loss better. richards is a much better WR

It's not even about Latrell per se. It's a bad sign for us moving forward when Dugans can't close on a kid that he's known for a year, and Tenn staff has known for 2 weeks (and Tenn told him to wait and see if they had a spot open up).

He literally waited for a spot. I mean holy ****. We didn't even lose to Tenn..... we lost to "maybe we have a scholarship available, don't know yet."

If true, it doesn't bother me to lose this kid then. Obviously a dog would have been ****ed off by that kind of treatment and went elsewhere. This kid waiting and hoping for a spot at a middling SEC program tells me all I need to know about him. Not a dog!

Feels like what happened to UF last year on signing day, Auburn dragged them

UknowWhat espn3 now!!
At work... whats going on?

He is beyond his years.. what's crazy is that i'm only a few years older than him and his demeanor, attitude and his view of success is what makes a great person let alone great football player. You can tell he was raised by great people. We need more people like him in the world today!

This is a pretty decent class that address some, but not all of the weaknesses. Now it's time for S&C and coaching to do their job. If we overachieve, our '17 class will be nasty.

The SWAG 16 class was supposed to be the class that saved Miami. It was your so called "nasty" class.

New year same ****, we lose some of the best and most talented to ho hum schools we don't even play beat us out.

I know Williams has that speed but anybody else think he was more of a backup plan for Bruce? IJS...I mean besides speed he was a low recruit. Got a couple stars because he committed to Miami bit I wouldnt be surprised if Miami didnt push hard after Bruce confirmed he wasnt going anywhere. I know we need more receivers but Mullins, Bruce and possibly Richards is noice...

Trying very hard not to criticize fellow fans...

Can ANYONE who is foaming at the mouth with how "awful" this class is explain that position OBJECTIVELY? Please use coherent language. For those howling loudest about losing a player to Tennessee, they were once an elite SEC program that of late has been on the rise. Good luck to any athlete who chooses to go there, just like Miami's program is on the rise with the recent staff changes.

I would offer this is a great class given the compressed time and uncertainty with putting a full staff in place.

Hopefully even better results in 2017 after a full year to work the wires.

Williams didn't even know miami was the hurricanes. That ****** said go ducks when he commited.

2017 is stacked too but yeah this is disappointing.

Coach Richt is quickly finding out that this ain't UGA. There are no bagmen here.

A lot easier to pull in top classes when the money is being handed out. Latrell definitely was paid. No doubt about it. That signing day pic tells you all you need to know.

I'd be ok with being light at WR if we got one of Byrd/Carter and another ****ing DT.

This is a disaster, especially CB.

Omg its a "DISASTER". How are we ever going to regroup after losing out on 1 corner and a WR that isn't better than the other WRs that signed with UM??

Stop being a ***** always being a ***ggot dreaming of what another team has instead what UM is doing.

So you don't think that under Coach Kool and a defensive scheme that fits these kids that Norton, Moten, Willis, Jenkins and McIntosh are going to be greatly improved? Bethel is going to grow into a defensive tackle and that's where Martin is going to play.

We need another corner no doubt, but we'll sign 3 to 4 in 2017. Everybody is panicking but Redwine can play and so can Jackson. Elder has the one side anchored.
