Funny how nobody cared about Williams becuase he was a lowly recruit and now goes to tennessee and all of a sudden it's the end of the world

People just want something to ***** about . if you wanted Scott gone and are *****ing about Bryd and Williams you are a truly a moron as that is why we lost both guys. But it is worth it for Richt to have guys he trusts.

New staff, another wet fart finish on Signing Day.

- Loses a WR his position coach had been recruiting for a long time to USF. Dugans had the best relationship with this kid.
- Lose a CB you've had committed for over a year the day before signing day.
- Get the gas face from two local corners.
- Whiff on a series of DTs

WR/CB are dangerously thin. Right now, we have two kids that guaranteed to qualify at WR, and a single CB signed. Wow.

I know at one point Mullins was listed as an athlete and the kid has a lot of speed, can he play CB? I realize he played well at the Under Armour game at WR, but CB depth seems like a much bigger issue right now, not the WR is great.

We didn't even go after any Georgia DTs this cycle. Well thats my signing day, only advice I will give Richt going into next year is change the structure of the Official visit, recruits should not have the same structure, every recruit is different, said this as well when Golden was here, no worries moving forward, we have a solid team coming back next year so a 9-10 win season is expected nothing less. IMO these guys impact to the program will be their coaching ability.

Mike Rumph excerpt ESPN3

-Means everything for him to come back to the University of Miami
-Wants to create a new identity (innovative in his approach)
-Malek Young is a special player, can play Special Teams, knows what he's getting in Young as a talent
-Very excited to coordinate with the defensive staff what they will do with the new system
-Doesn't want to "play" the offense wants the offense to "play" off them
-Corn is the foundation for his group, can't say enough good things about him
-Transition from HS: "Awesome, shocker, worth it as a Hurricane. Will do whatever it takes"
-Sam Bruce will change the game. Whenever he has the ball he can go the distance

WR/CB is dangerously thin, but still...these are positions that are never more than one year away. WR/CB in South Florida grow on trees.

If we land Richards, I'm fine.

No question about it, those disappointed had too high of expectations. The first class is almost always terrible, I believe four coaches since 2000 have put together a top-10 class their first year (two we're former Cane coaches in Coker and Shannon).

The second class is the class to evaluate them on.

That said- getting our asses kicked by Tennessee sure isn't fun. They once stole the basketball coach from Missouri State along with their two best recruits, starting a downward trend for them, so I've disliked them since then.

Been this way for years. It's more than just the guys recruiting for UM. Most kids no longer see what we see when they look at The U. Richt has to prove he can win here before that will change. That much is obvious this am.

love people hating on richt except when he was at UGA, dude pulled in top classes each season. only one class was ranked lower than miamis.

If you win on the field you win in recruiting . What Richt was able to do ( get a top 20 class ) with UM's lack of success is nothing short of amazing.
