Name that Miami likes at WR

From the Auburn 247 board:

Fresh off his Georgia decommitment, Ny Carr was in Auburn watching the Tigers take on the school he was committed to for over a year. Carr had visited Auburn a couple of times earlier this year and this was his first chance to take in a game at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

"It was a great game. They played hard, they battled all four quarters," "Just when the big-time moments came, some of the players didn’t make the big-time plays and I mean, just got to do better."

"Really they were just telling me they need the receivers that are going to make the plays,"

"Yeah they’re in my top of my top schools. Like top five schools,"
Freeze specifically has been a big factor in his recruitment.

"He texts me every day," "He’s a big part of my recruitment. Just as far as relationship-wise, we’ve got a good relationship. I feel like a priority to them."

No date has been setup yet, but Carr plans to return to Auburn for an official visit sometime this fall. The only scheduled visit he has as of now is an official visit to Penn State on Oct. 14
Translation: “yeah, they cool”

Feels good to not be talked about like this…because this whole statement he gave is exactly what top skill position guys have said about us for years lol like yea tuff game they said they need me, im a priority, one of my top schools and they never come here

Now when the recruits talk they talk about the actual offense and how they can fit and the overall direction of the program.

It’s easy to spot the difference from the other side when u have seen those kinda statements said about your team

Does anyone think that with our heavy involvement in WR (i.e., Jeremiah Smith, and current commits) and the impending commitment from Ny Carr, that mayyyybe we get Trader over playing DB? I mean if we get Ny Carr, and Smith along with Chance and that Trader who's p[laying with his boys is col with going to DB. People on the CIS webbings been saying that he's got a higher ceiling there anyway? I have no idea. Either way, some people can dream.
I think he is a better wr than db…imo

Sure seems that way in the televised games. He has been a penalty magnet and hasn't tackled well when he's played corner minimally , but maybe those are outlier moments highlighted because they were on TV

Here’s what happens. People start pumping a guy up on here - usually enthusiastic, sunshine pumping Canes fans. Loyal Canes fans for certain.

Happens a good amount. Posters get hyped up. Then the guy doesn’t hit that expectation and posters get the pitchforks out nasty, calling the guy a bust or worse. Then the sunshine pumpers who riled everyone up to begin with, turn on the herd they riled up and calls them ****** fans. Same thing happens with recruiting - they pump stuff up and when we whiff and people get mad, they attack them as ****** fans. 😂

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

This is straight from the site’s terms and conditions…

Auburn’s QBs found it challenging yesterday to complete a forward pass. Some of that is because UGA may have the best CB play in the country. But the rest is because the Auburn QBs can’t pass for sh*t. I’m pretty glad Carr went to yesterday’s game.

The longer he stays uncommitted following his decommitment from UGA, the more skeptical I become. He opened things up because at least one school gave him serious second thoughts. If that school was Miami, we need to close asap.

Just my $.02.
He visits this upcoming weekend. its the first chance he's got to come down and see Miami play. Lets give him a chance to see Miami before we start worrying.
