Name that Miami likes at WR

I’m not sure how serious you’re being. Are you not on the same site I’m on? There are people here calling the kid the future and a first rounder. I’m matching the energy. I find that utterly ridiculous when the kid hasn’t taken a snap worth anything. They say they hear that from the staff, ok cool let’s say thats true and go with it, my initial evaluation of him in detail hasn’t been shared. I said I see the tools I just don’t see a guy who’s the starter in year 2. My opinion is and will remain until shown otherwise he’s a few years away from being a starter that moves the needle in a TVD like way. Even if I am wrong (which i hope I am i’m a fan of Miami) isn’t that just the name of the game? It won’t be the first or last time I missed on a eval.
Stop being rational and levelheaded.

That’s the thing, we are all wrong all the time and will continue to be and that includes the staff. Are we to forget that this very same staff was communicating to us that they were excited by the progress and potential JB had made?

1. Emory Williams looks better than expected to this point as a TF QB.
2. Emory has done everything the coaches have asked of him to date and seems highly "coachable".
3. Emory has only had limited snaps at QB in garbage time of games we've had big leads in.
4. There are reasons to be positive about his development, but he's not shown enough to conclude he's a legitimate P5 starter yet.
5. The staff feels good about Emory's future at UM.
6. The staff is going to "sell" -- i.e., exaggerate Emory's skills/development -- to other offensive recruits, because that's the nature of recruiting.
7. It doesn't mean they're handing him the keys to the offense next year, that they won't target a starting QB in the portal, or that they think Emory's going to be some All-ACC QB as a true sophomore.

All of these things can be true at once.

From the Auburn 247 board:

Fresh off his Georgia decommitment, Ny Carr was in Auburn watching the Tigers take on the school he was committed to for over a year. Carr had visited Auburn a couple of times earlier this year and this was his first chance to take in a game at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

"It was a great game. They played hard, they battled all four quarters," "Just when the big-time moments came, some of the players didn’t make the big-time plays and I mean, just got to do better."

"Really they were just telling me they need the receivers that are going to make the plays,"

"Yeah they’re in my top of my top schools. Like top five schools,"
Freeze specifically has been a big factor in his recruitment.

"He texts me every day," "He’s a big part of my recruitment. Just as far as relationship-wise, we’ve got a good relationship. I feel like a priority to them."

No date has been setup yet, but Carr plans to return to Auburn for an official visit sometime this fall. The only scheduled visit he has as of now is an official visit to Penn State on Oct. 14
