Not sure what you’re not seeing. A 17 year old kid who when he gets in, rather it be the spring game, 2nd half mop up duty, shows command of the O, knows where to go with the ball, is accurate & on time..if you pay attention to most of the hyped TF QBs around the country year in & year out you’d realize this kid is different in these regards..compared to some of the kids ranked ahead of him who saw action in spring, Emory looks to be on par if not better

Maybe ask @DMoney and others who have contacts within the program. Also im assuming it would be the QB coach and OC who are the same people. And confirmed that he has been the backup so far and being put in position to get snaps to get him game ready.

Im guessing u are the one the ones who called Cristobal a QB killer and cant recruit WRs? You should state what your coach friends have said, not like u are outing anyone. Put what they say, so we can have it on record.

Those folks been mighty quiet through the first month. Interesting. We should’ve taken down names

I hope we hit the portal for QB regardless of how Emory/Jacurri progress this year. If TVD keeps putting up great numbers, we should be an attractive destination for a mercenary looking to improve their draft stock. Great OL play and talent at the skill positions not a bad selling point either

I was impressed by his overall composure. He looked like a guy who had been in the program at least two years. For ME, I didn’t see enough to draw a conclusion either way. He hasn’t played anyone with a pulse even in limited snaps

If they bring in another QB, thats not gonna be because they think Emory and JB are garbage. Its because you need 4 QBs and you need competition. The best guy should win, not the least bad like we see at Bama and UGA to some extent. Thats what force man to study the playbook more, and do the extra that take them to the next level. The days of us having 1 QB and no else who can play are over. And that goes for every position. You man dont get it yet.

Agree the kid hasn’t done much for anyone to act like this kid is a heisman front runner in a few years. Sure looked decent in mop up duty but against who. Kid looks like he has some intangibles but all very premature.

I think they without a doubt need to get a veteran arm in the mix next year from the portal. Have to figure kids are gonna line up to be able to sit behind this line, with the receivers and RB’s in the fold and also Dawson calling plays.

What exactly is the conclusion your tryna make here? That’s he’s the next Tom Brady or that he belongs at Miami and will he a viable option?..I’m going with the he belongs at Miami & let’s watch him develop from year 1 too year 2..there have been plenty of arms whom you knew rather or not they belonged once they got reps as a TF against college comp. No matter if it’s vs Miami 2/3s, Miami of Ohio or Bethune, it’s a major jump from HS in north Fla competition too college competition

I dont think this staff wastes a scholly on a QB when we have so many question marks at the position for a guy just to hold a clip board. This staff is constantly looking to upgrade the roster and over recruit the guys on roster at every position, Mario said that before in a presser. You go get a guy who will win the job or at the very least push Emory to be great. We need to get Murphy from Texas.

Yeah man! I like Emory but way too early to tell what we have there fully. Current stats don’t mean squat especially vs the competition he played against. I want him to succeed but like you said, we will find out in the off-season if a transfer is brought in or not. Speaking of stats, these were Tate Martell’s stats at Ohio state freshman year. It means nothing! The 2019 were his Miami stats.

I think the kid is Miami talent. I think in my caution it’s coming off as if I don’t think he can play and that’s not it. I’m trying to make that clear
