I just find it funny they wanted to be more of a passing team then hire a guy who has a power run scheme
It's not a power run scheme, and they threw the ball very well off the play fakes and run deception.
Thats true, to a extent the bread and butter to that offense is the run game
Canadas offense was ranked like 42nd in the country but they were really efficient and scored tds instead of field goals in the red zone. This is a very good hire for them imo. Their other candidates were Steve sarkisian and mark helfrich who would have been good tooThis dude Matt Chaneyda is the real deal. Glad to have him out of Pitt. His offense is amongst the most dynamic in football.
Fair enough but I was under the impression they were going to get an established big time name that had big time program experience. It very well might end up being a great hire but everytime you talk to a cultist from the SEC when there's an opening they never admit that they're just like everyone else and have to occasionally hire an "up and comer". They start rattling off high end NFL names first and work their way down from there.....until they hire a Colorado State corch....that just lost to Air Force.
Yeah Pitts offense was the most dynamic in college football guysm
They averaged more total offense and scoring offense than Miami with 1/3 the talent.

So they didn't have Brad Kaaya holding the offense back means nothing Pitt was an average offense at best.

Lmfaoo this guy crowns everybody and anybody as long as they dont work for UM
Pitt was the only P5 team to score 28 every game. Oh and 76... Nuff said, I wish we hired the guy
lol at without conner lol....dog they have better players at lsu

I'm not saying he's Lane Kiffin, but he's been an OC for 10 years at Indiana, Northern Illinois, Wisconsin, NC State and Pitt. It's not like he came from Western Illinois Tech.
