MJJ's top 7

Blindly following some random recruiting rule is stupid. We don’t need qbs this year. We’ll be perfectly fine in 2018, and in 2019 we’ll have a top 2 of Williams and one of Perry or Weldon (the other will transfer out).

Nik Scalzo just commited to Kentucky. Now we know who are backup plan is if MJJ falls through.

I keep telling y’all my state hates us lol they ****ed we just flipped Smith....nothing will top Jarren last cycle though....not football related but in basketball...they coming for that 5 Star from U school

U school may have the top ranked basketball player in the country the next two years in a row with Vernon Carey JR next year and Scottie Barnes the following.

Sigh.

Bingo. Only problem with that approach is it takes out of the equation the need to develop another starting qb as a backup & have necessary depth in the room. What were experiencing now is a situation that should never be allowed to transpire in any power 5 contenders program
Bro I was literally asking myself this during the Unc game ... Like there was literally nothing else to put in at qb

Thats following a blind assumption that all of the above listed players plan out... We have a feeling when it comes to jarren. We'd like to hope nkosi figures it out... But nothing thats been done on the field assures u of anything but potential. What if jarren gets hurt god forbid? We have the belief that any qb is an upgrade over malik & while id like to agree, id be a fool if i did. We need to infuse more talent into the qb position. Iron sharpens iron.

Some people have no common sense and forget about things like injuries and plain old bad luck.

Of course you take a QB.

My gut tells me we don’t land this kid & it has for some time. Like I said before if we whiff on him I want a local kid.

Local kids have worked out great right? Williams is the best qb on the roster and he isn't from Florida

Yikes.

Hopefully a Nebraska fluff piece, but those quotes are saying otherwise.

Sister at the school sure doesn't help us either.

Hope The Pastor and Lil Jon know what they're doing here.

yeah, Didn't make me feel too positive. I have always felt Nebraska was the biggest competition. This just reinforces that to me.

That's one of the stupidest things anyone has ever said on here, which is real impressive.

We do in fact need a QB this year. And next year, and every other year until the end of time. If you knew anything about college football in general, or Miami in particular, you'd know that kids fail at QB all the time. Add to that the fact that one good QB is not only one injury away from the end of your season, but he's not being pushed to improve.

There are almost no set recruiting rules set in stone, but at least one QB every year is one of them.

Sht, we've taken at least one a year and until proven otherwise, we're still short a really good starter. How the **** do you figure we can get away without taking one this year?

FSWho got caught with bad QB recruiting and when Francois went down it was exposed big time. It was for various reasons but the result is the same. Get caught with no QBs or inferior guys at QB and it can hurt big time.

It's one of the most important spots on the field. Teams with good to great QB play win and win consistently.

I say hope for a horrible season from OU and go after Spencer Rattler. Wow! I just noticed that we have only offered five QBs and all of them are committed elsewhere except for MJJ.

I said this; the pickings are getting real slim out here. We were fortunate w/ Jarren, but I'm not feeling the eggs all in one basket. I like Spencer Rattler a lot and hope we can go hard in the paint after him. I don't have the warm and fuzzy feeling for MJJ especially after he stated he wants to go somewhere where he can play right away.
