Miller Moss...

One will I’m sure but if you can keep Horton, Concepcion, Trader, Carr, and Chance - I think losing RayRay is fine. I just think Miller won’t cost half what Cam did and you can get a solid producing WR to pair with Horton.
I like trader,Carr, and chance combo. just don't want to lose those guys.

I dont think so

This is a guy that spent a lot of time at USC, knew the system, and when he got his chance...ultimately he failed
Yall got mixed up. He was talking about Oklahoma. You're talking about USC.

But I am curious, why have you mentioned multiple times that Miller quit and walked out in his team? Because he just entered the portal?

The regular season is over yes.

So youre gonna call every player to enter the portal a quitter for entering before their teams meaningless bowl game?
The bottom line is this, while you all want to rant on about this guy.

He cannot handle pressure, that's proven. He hasnt developed in a PROVEN system, with a great QB coach.

His OL wasnt great, but he definitely was not either. He barely above average at best.

Should we decide to pursue him, and he ultimately ends up at Miami....there will be TVD comparisons right after he gets his *** kicked by ND in game one.

Not to mention we might have at least 1 if not 2 more QBs of our own haul ***.

Ok, but let me bring you back to your quitter comment. Can you respond to that part?

Yep, since thats a major concern for you

I'll say this, he quit on his team in early November, after he was called out by his teammates weeks prior, and he was asked for accountability...especially after having what was said to be a good game against PSU, he **** the bed late against Maryland, and then again against a bad Washington team. Then the pressure rose, and we all knew what happened after that.

What do you know about the kid?

I don’t know if it’s the “Miami thing” or just because it would require Miami passing up on what I feel are better QB options, but I just wouldn’t feel good with Mendoza.

I will admit, however, that he’s developing in a positive direction and better talent would help him. He’s obviously a very smart kid and I don’t know, something about him does give me Brock Purdy vibes/potential.

His trajectory, improvement, measurables, intangibles, etc and the fact that if Mario is dead set on him being the QB, that is what is going to happen. He would be a “stop gap” in terms of finding a new QB every year but again, that means Mendoza has developed better than anyone you have recruited, which again, is ******* concerning.

Thoughts, Cribby?

@Memnon - I think you have said hard pass on him but not sure.
I just don’t see the difference between Mendoza and Emory. I think they're both average QBs with the capability to be below average if the right conditions are met. I don't think that will win games for us.
