I have a good feeling once wyche gets on the field he is not coming off. Unless he is tired of course
Pete just tweeted he was at 385 yesterday in position testing

Even at 3-4 NT that is too much, cause he will tire too easily. And they will run no huddle to wear him out. Needs to somehow lose at least 40 pounds quick.
So I know I'm rare amongst our community of cane fans in this mindset, but hey, maybe I'm just a positive thinker, what if Mike Wyche, this mammoth of a man (what is he 6'4" 350?) who we also know has done some dangerous **** apparently, so that makes him have a more aggressive approach on the field I assume, what if he comes in, and is just an absolute force from **** tearing up every line of scrimmage in our new 3-4 with Kamalu and McCord coming from the outside edges, Chickillo would fit in well at DT, but that group, what if Mike Wyche just dominates and is an absolute beast on the field, that group there goes to work, we insert Pierre at any of the 3 positions across the line, Chad and Quan in McCord's speed rush role, maybe Chad in some more natural defensive end sets like Kamalu, Moten could be an early contributor at any of the 3 positions, Demetrius Jackson at intermediate pass rush and line backer, but may get even bigger and slide in with Kamalu and Chad, we can play young and we have a ton of depth is the point, if we use it and Mike Wyche is great, we have a great defensive line with a lot of depth and young athletic dudes, and the D line is the core to any good defense, so why not do it? I hope the best for Mike Wyche, I hope all these young dudes have their chances early, frequently, and freeing up one another reps wise in games, we can always have fresh legs in games! Why not! I hope we do it, I hope Mike Wyche goes down as one of the baddest motherfvckers in the history of the program, Warren Sapp, Cortez Kennedy, Russell Maryland, you name it I want him in that list, I want him to get at least 6 sacks this year he could be like Dontari Poe from Memphis but with more experience and aggression and hopefully true Cane mentality, I think he could be a first rounder, I hope he turns this whole team around, we honestly have all the other parts, with him this could be a really good team that could overcome the definitely questionable coaching at times, I believe this team could really become something with Mike Wyche at the healm, and Perryman too! We've got some leaders on this team! This could be a kickass defense and that would be enough, we got the offense. This is a rant, but a positive one. I hope the best for Mike Wyche, and please let him be this force on the field.
Sad that we as fans are bankrolling 1 DT because the others suck so bad.
better than only being able to be excited about 1 player (DP) like the past few years. We are saying if this guy and 93 can just hold the line of scrimmage, we don't need all conference with beast we have at other positions, we now have experienced talent at all levels and positions.
What do you mean not Carter and Burns? As in not showing their whole talent? I believe Burns could become a really great sometimes corner sometimes safety, and Carter is a hitter. If he ballhawks, he could be the next great safety at Miami. But I could say that about any one of these dudes if they trained off their young weaknesses, Bush, Jenkins, Crawford, all could be great. And Kiy.

Jesus Christo.... Wyche isn't a pass rusher! If you think he is you'll be sorely disappointed. He's a run-stopper, gap stuffer, whatever the **** you want to call it. Can he collapse a pocket because of pure strength against d1 OL? That's what I want to know. I don't even think he'll be our best DT this year. You gents need to tempor expectations a bit.

I heard it was actually 445.
