Michael Wyche

So I know I'm rare amongst our community of cane fans in this mindset, but hey, maybe I'm just a positive thinker, what if Mike Wyche, this mammoth of a man (what is he 6'4" 350?) who we also know has done some dangerous **** apparently, so that makes him have a more aggressive approach on the field I assume, what if he comes in, and is just an absolute force from **** tearing up every line of scrimmage in our new 3-4 with Kamalu and McCord coming from the outside edges, Chickillo would fit in well at DT, but that group, what if Mike Wyche just dominates and is an absolute beast on the field, that group there goes to work, we insert Pierre at any of the 3 positions across the line, Chad and Quan in McCord's speed rush role, maybe Chad in some more natural defensive end sets like Kamalu, Moten could be an early contributor at any of the 3 positions, Demetrius Jackson at intermediate pass rush and line backer, but may get even bigger and slide in with Kamalu and Chad, we can play young and we have a ton of depth is the point, if we use it and Mike Wyche is great, we have a great defensive line with a lot of depth and young athletic dudes, and the D line is the core to any good defense, so why not do it?

I hope the best for Mike Wyche, I hope all these young dudes have their chances early, frequently, and freeing up one another reps wise in games, we can always have fresh legs in games! Why not! I hope we do it, I hope Mike Wyche goes down as one of the baddest motherfvckers in the history of the program, Warren Sapp, Cortez Kennedy, Russell Maryland, you name it I want him in that list, I want him to get at least 6 sacks this year he could be like Dontari Poe from Memphis but with more experience and aggression and hopefully true Cane mentality, I think he could be a first rounder, I hope he turns this whole team around, we honestly have all the other parts, with him this could be a really good team that could overcome the definitely questionable coaching at times, I believe this team could really become something with Mike Wyche at the healm, and Perryman too!

We've got some leaders on this team! This could be a kickass defense and that would be enough, we got the offense. This is a rant, but a positive one. I hope the best for Mike Wyche, and please let him be this force on the field.

Here's help for those who gave up trying to read this. It was exhausting. Someone else will have to pitch in with the run-on sentences.

Bruh even if my internet scrawlings aren't grammatically correct, it's important to be positive and Mike Wyche could change the culture around here

Good post dude, I always find it funny when the grammar police come out lol. I totally agree if Wyche can come in here and dominate it will totally change the face of this program. If he can demand double teams Denzel will be able to run free and make plays all over the field.

A dominate DT will make this a top 25 defense, if that happens this team will win 10+ games and the costal. With a season like that Miami will have a top 5 recruiting class, and be set up to have another top 5 class in 2016.

Holy run-on sentence.

Sad that we as fans are bankrolling 1 DT because the others suck so bad.

better than only being able to be excited about 1 player (DP) like the past few years. We are saying if this guy and 93 can just hold the line of scrimmage, we don't need all conference with beast we have at other positions, we now have experienced talent at all levels and positions.

Agreed but think there are many players on D to be excited about. My concern is Mark runs his style of D with different pieces than what he had success with in the past. He comes across as a super stubborn guy that doesn't know how to utilize the talent he has on defense. Sure, DP will make plays here and there but I think we all want to see Mark put all of his players in the best position possible to utilize their talents more so than his scheme of defense.

I don't think they suck outside of King, Moore, and Jelani. Guys like Heurtelou, Wyche, Moten, Jenkins, and Pierre don't suck. Young and inexperienced at this college level(outside of Pierre)? Yes but definitely have talent. Definitely not relying heavily on Wyche.

Its just sad that we gotta depend on guys that never played a snap and claim to have beasts that never beasted outside of dp

It would turn around recruiting too! For sure! Mike Wyche could be the sparkplug that turns the whole program around and saves Al Golden's ***

Underrated post right here ! We get one DT to be dominant the floodgates will open as far as DT and Dline recruiting goes. It's hard to sell a DT when all your promoting is playing time and you can't show a recruit on film how he will be playing like some of the other schools do.

I feel our quarterback situation may not be so bad either. If Ryan Williams comes in strong off injury, good, I hope Jake Heaps surprises some people, adds valuable senior depth and was once a five-star so he may have a good last ride into the sunset, allowing Olsen and Kaaya to be ushered in a little more gradually, and hopefully one of them shines, we could be in not such a bad position, if a QB steps up, there's a team around him to make a good football team.

All this has gotten me thinking about guys qualifying, if Trayone gets in we could use him kind of like Cordarrelle Patterson during his year at Tennessee, but plus quarterback and for minimum 3 years, I also think if he puts on the weight and focuses on Runningback he could become a McGahee type in his UM days

Dude, I'm so totally wid ya I also always find it funny when the grammar police come out lol just trying to be helpful so that some who may find it hard to reed his post can see where he coming from and in his own words but did not correct them with periods and stuff so it would be all him original like just trying to make it so that others who could see some spaece between thoughts so I was glad to see he didn't get all sensitive and stuff he was a straight up dude and stood by his thoughts if not by the way the sentences came out and that's cool because and I totally agree if Wyche can come in here and dominate it will totally change the face of this program totally if he can demand double teams Denzel will be able to run free and make plays all over the field also think OP was humbel and theres nothing wrong with an opinion and totally agree bruh that a big guy on the d line can dominate DT will make this a top 25 defense if that happens this team will win 10+ games and the costal with a season like that Miami will have a top 5 recruiting class, and be set up to have another top 5 class in 2016.

I hear ya...I just want to see what these guys can do this year with the talent we have. No excuses this year!

The young guys we have all showed potential to be beast, especially McCord, Bush, Figatron and Howard. The others showed flashes last year as well. Maybe not Carter and Burns.
