Michael Barrow leaving team

I might wake up and call into the fat ******* and call him on it. This is the second time he has despaired this site, and it's solely due to his connection with Canesinsider.com. I don't have any problem with Canesinsider, but don't cast the freaking stones. CIS hasn't ever done that, and the main reason the credibility is beyond reproach. Not even to mention CIS is the only one that got it right about Golden PSU stuff.
The fat ******* needs to think before he types. I swear the fugger thinks he is getting another doughnut every time he tweets something.

Another option this late would be for 1 season with 1 yr option to bring in Greg schiano as LB coach and Co defensive coordinator. It would add an another defensive mind to the staff and also infuse more agression in the scheme. Not to mentionit gets schiano back into ccoaching.
Go Canes

I love the dreamers here. There is no way that former NFL HCs are coming here to coach LBs or RBs. We may see someone do double duty for one year hoping that Ice passes his classes and then coaches RBs next year. Or, there may be an ex-cane RB that is willing to start his career here. But, bet the house Butch is not coming.

I'll say this, there's no doubt in my mind that Barrow loves Miami and loves working with these kids. So if he's leaving right now I'm sure there's a good reason and I won't question him.

I'll also say that with all the preaching Golden did in the off season about continuity, I doubt he was let go.

Our LBers have been destroyed during Golden's tenure, and we have been outrecruited like we were FAU during same. No way we miss him.

Since we are all on ******* fantasy island, why not Clancy Pendergast? Why not, right?

How many times does it need to be said that at Miami, the priority should never be "great recruiters with ties to the community".

Give me guys who can coach football, and they'll win a million games with 3 star So Fla talent, which then attracts any kid you could want. Have we not learned from the past decade that the way out is NOT by having a staff of recruiters?

Mark D'Antonio wouldn't have to recruit a single four star kid from south florida, and would still have the team in a BCS bowl; he did it with three star northern kids! Does anyone not think that a 12-1 Canes team wouldn't be able to clean up in recruiting? Get me coaches, not corches.

I'm starting to come around to the opinion that it's the Jimmies and the Joes and not the Xs and the Os.

When the LBs we've thrown out there have actually had talent under Barrow, they've produced---McCarthy, Spence, Perryman, Sharpton, even Eddie Johnson flashed.

But it's hard to make chicken salad out of chicken ****.

For those wondering if Ice Harris is in line for job #Canes' coaching staff, he said upon hire he would earn his degree in May 2015.

Where's the rule regarding a degree come from? Is that NCAA or UM?

Edit: just looked it up, it's not an NCAA requirement. School can hire him. It's up to them.

My pipe dream involves that piece of garbage defensive coordinator who happens to be Golden's buddy demoted to Barrow's vacated LB coach position.

Then you can pretty much bring in anyone with a heartbeat to coordinate the defense and POOF....it'll be a upgrade regardless.

I mean, the dude has put 7 line backers in the league. One per year. He would have had more if Eddie didn't go Goon Squad and get kicked off the team. Perryman will be a high pick. It seems like Gaines is doing well in camp. So possibly 9 guys and he's a bum? Idk, y'all.

most of the LBs getting destroyed is because the DTs haven't been keeping the LBs clean by getting steamrolled.

Schiano ain't gonna work Doh. He will become a HC in Dec/Jan (Maryland probably)

Jose Baez has a degree

My personal opinion (which doesn't count for anything) is that the D-line and linebackers and the linebackers and d-backs have never "meshed" under Golden's tenure. To me this is a major problem. We have not seen a cohesive unit. Maybe Barrow has family issues. Maybe it has to do with all the garbage trouble with the LB's over the years. Maybe stress. Frankly - I don't care. Barrow was a good recruiter - but let's fix this defense. Some of the predictions on here sound pretty preposterous. Let's get a guy that that can push these players and make the LB's play smart defense along with the the rest of the defensive units.

"Canesport.com said that Barrow's mother is sick and he wants to care for her."

I'd take that with a grain of salt.
