Miami opens 11.5 point favorite at Cal

Of course you know he was hurt coming into the season. He is finally getting back. He hit FSU with 73 yards last year he ran for 1300 yards.

Was he? I see he got a high ankle sprain in opener and was probably at Auburn.

FSU doesn’t have a vaunted defense. Brashard Smith gashed them for double of what Ott did last night. If I had to bet I’d say he doesn’t run for 200 on us.

Knowing nothing about Cal, I went back and watched some of their game with FSU. They don't look good. They look slow and it looks like their kicker sucks.

Which probably means that on Saturday, this will be a dogfight and their kicker will hit from 62, 58 and 55.

Cam needs to be the steadying force here and not turn the ball over.

I think we’ll be fine. Time zone difference and late start time will have an impact but probably not by much on a bunch of 18-25 year olds with just the 33 year old outlier (cam). BUT it’s also easy to mitigate even that if the coaching staff insists on shifting everyone to west coast time sleeping patterns starting now so they’re completely adjusted for the game.

We need the extra day and a half between these games after VT .

This for sure. When someone goes out with an injury I consider them out for the year until I see otherwise. We hear a couple of weeks or so and so is close to returning and it never happens. Meanwhile the UF RB had knee surgery and a month later he runs for over 100 against us.

That was the game Randy Shannon called a TIMEOUT on an INCOMPLETE PASS during a TWO MINUTE DRILL.

It boggles my mind he hasn't gone on to be a successful head coach anywhere.

I've come to the conclusion they're out for the season until they show up. So I am not not expecting neither for the next game. I've been telling everybody they're coming back this week for the last 3 games

I got Miami winning 42-17. Cal got a good running game with 3 good backs, so thats something to watch out for. How bad the injuries on the D side? We're about to find out
