Miami offers WR (Jordan Pouncey, now former ND Commit)

Put any kid in this position. Committed to a school where your OC and or position coach are leaving and then you have The U in dire need of WR's. How they heck doesnt he come to UM?

Lots of good signs pointing in our direction but I'll wait to get excited until/if he actually announces for us.

Having said that, is this guy a replacement for Harley? Is he a speed guy who would be able to take on the Stacy Coley role? Haven't read this entire thread so apologies if this has already been posted.

On 247 it says he runs a 4.6 40, so I don't think he's a speed guy near what Coley is. But he's good enough for me.
 
does the kid have a preference between safety and receiver? Last kid that we got because of a position preference was Norton and he is working out.

The Crystal Ball predictions are stupid. They change them up to the last second when the guy is about to sign and everybody already knows where he is going.

6'3" 186 according to ESPN
Pretty smooth, strong kid (breaks arm tackles easily)
Returns punts and kickoffs
Played plenty of RB in his film and knows he to handle the ball.
Was able to accelerate once in the open but the competition is not Miami DADE like.
Looks like the classic ND thats spanks us for 100+ yards out of now where.
Just as good if not better than Harley in every department except speed. 4.6 forty seems about right.
He is a take in my book...
 
He was offered by bama and uf as a cb... he thoroughly impressed at bamas camp has over 40 other offers

Why is there no in between? Richards was a 4 star with Bama chasing him down the stretch. Pouncey is good. No point in comparing him to Richards.

He's not a Richards level recruit but his offer list on 247 includes Bama and L$U.
