I'm not sure the ankle was really that much of a problem. That deep ball he threw in the second half where he got his weight transfer correctly was executed effortlessly. There were times he just simply bailed out of the pocket when he didn't have to do so. There were other times he lost his mechanics. Stephen Morris is as streaky quarterback as Miami has had as a starter. He goes hot and cold quickly. When he's on he is really on. When he is off he is really off.
That's the frustrating thing about him. he has all the tools, and he's a great kid so you want to see him succeed. When he has issues out there, it's all between his ears. He just needs to trust his coaching and his mechanics and go through his progressions and not try to reinvent the wheel out there.
