"Miami is not on FSU's level"

I will have to agree. I dnt think Miami is on Fsu's level because of all those turnovers. 4 T.O. against FSU, that wont be pretty

SMH

Yes I stand by that statement. If Miami turns it over 4 times a game they aren't on FSU or Clemson's level. Sorry to break it to you.

you can keep shaking your head all you want till it breaks off. I haven't said anything wrong. Sorry but I can take my Cane shades off and actually look at the team.

Turnovers are fixable but to say the entire team isnt on FSU's level is well all i can do is SMH

If we fix some of the issues that have been plaguing us for the past few weeks we will be fine. Gotta get Duke healthy and teach him how to block without using his head. It's also imperative we clean up Morris's bull****.

I'd like to see us work the middle more as well. I don't know if it's the play calls or Morris not going through his projections, but we never seem to test the middle of the field even when it's open.

Whatever issues Morris has aren't likely to get fixed in the second half of his senior year. He is what he is. Maybe Coley has a plan to limit what the guy has to do. I don't know how to fix him.

Last night just proved what we all already know...you don't have the same team every week. Making predictions about FSU based off of last night is ridiculous, just like making them based off of Savannah State would have been ridiculous. It could not have gone more wrong than it did last night and we still won.

Right now? No! Can they be better? Yes. But, I'm in the now. And right now Miami isnt on FSU's level. 4 T.O. wont be FSU.

FSU might not be on FSU's level, but we all know what they're talking about. It's a perceived level, and an offense that turns the ball over is not it. They need to fix Morris' footwork like, yesterday. That ankle injury is in his head now. I hope they stick to more of the blocking schemes they were using at the end of the game too. That was not a good game, but they won, and sometimes that happens. Good teams make it through those kinds of games.

it seems that the recent years no matter how superior the depth chart looks compared to the others they always play hard and they are close games, which i think this one will be when we play them

Dynasty, the goat, made a great post a few days (weeks?) ago where he noted that several times in the past FSU came into the Miami game with the "better team" and left the game with a big fat L to show for it. That's on point and hopefully it's in play this year, because FSU's better than us right now by pretty much every metric. We've shown the grit required for such a thing.

If SM plays the way hes always played with interceptions and missing wide open underneath guys we will lose. To me SM has to have an NFL coming out party to win that game. Still though I hope Clemson bust they *** but thing is thats not EJ back there cuz if it was we win that game and Clemson would of killed them. What they were saying about the off season that the kid got to much hype, Winston is what they said he is a very good fkin QB. So it wasnt some imaginary fsu hype it was legit hes the real deal. Heres hoping for the tigers to shatter there national championship dreams. I think we are one class away and a couple more stud RB's away and a better QB away. We will come in pumped up and stay with them and maybe even steal it but McCord and that DL gotta go after Gaymous hard.

The ONLY thing the FSU game is going to come down to is Morris. The team will be amped up and ready to play. The ONLY question is wether Morris can pull it together and score points, or wether he crumbles under the pressure and kills us.

Ill be perfectly honest, Im scared to death of what FSU's D is going to do if Morris starts making mistakes like he has in the last few games. And that would be a disgrace, to have our team amped up and our guys giving 120% and playing their lights out, only to have it ruined by the mistakes of one player. THAT is what worries me the most.

we cannot go str8 four wrs on fsu we gotta use 2 TEs because our TEs can beat there LBs.

I agree with this, their secondary is pretty good, while only telvin smith has good coverage ability. I think Morris will get the protection he needs, but will he take what is given to him? This isn't gonna be a team you can just straight out athlete. If we are patient we will have a good shot but we must limit TOs. I expect our defense to play their hearts out but FSU will score on us. The question will be whether. Morris can manage a smart game, cause plays will be available against their defense but you just can't force them....

Part of the problem is people are basing our entire season projection based on what we have done against a bunch of scrub teams (SSU, USF, FAU) and 1 average team in GT. So offensively, the only challenge we have really had was against UF and they shut our offense down after the first quarter. Call it what you want, conservative playcalling, not letting the defense beat us etc. it does not matter, because in the end, our offense was ineffective.

Defensively, we have not played a team with an offensive pulse before this UNC game with exception of GT who can be dangerous, but are not superstars on offense. UNC is the best offense we have played all year and most of you think they are garbage. Let that sink in people. Yes we managed the score. We showed up in the red zone and in the 4th quarter, but their offense was moving pretty easily most of the rest of the game. They got yards, but we stopped them from the TDs which is what was most important. Everyone keeps using UF as the reason we will go undefeated or have a great season, but UF has a horrible offense.

We are in the meat of the schedule now and we are about to learn a lot about our team. I still think we will likely finish with anywhere between 2-3 losses and I still think its possible for us to go undefeated, but not likely. A lot of people need to put down their homer card once in awhile and see our team for what it is. We have talent and we are good enough to beat anyone, but we are not the favorites in our biggest games and it is rightfully so.
