Yeah I don’t have an answer here. I refuse to believe there wasn’t an adjustment to be made that could have kept drives to 3 points not 7 we literally did the same thing all year. Guidry 100% got way too ****y after last season and got ******* dominated all year

Bro had the quote about seeing every offense since 1972 and knowing how to adjust and got dominated from then on. Crazy to watch happen

yes, but why did it go on all season? You'd think the head coach would have stepped in long before it cost the team what it did and force changes. Maybe he tried.... IDK.

Realistically, what was Mario going to do during the season? Fire his DC when the team was 8-0/10-1? And replace him with who? Jason Taylor? If he did that and the defense continued to suck (which was likely considering the personnel), i think that would have put Mario on the hot seat after the season in a much greater way than he is now

Mario had to do this now. Doeren just finished his bowl game Saturday night and replaced both coordinatiors by last night.... There was nothing "rough" about the way that was worded.

The stunts looked slow and affected our ability to set the edges. I'm good if I never see another stunt, ever.

I never thought I'd hate something as simple as a stunt. Between that and DTs covering receivers I never thought I'd question if D'Onofrio would have company.

Definitely didn't think his company would be Guidry.

If we’re looking to poach from Texas I don’t think Terry Joseph is the right one. Never been a DC.

Don’t love Johnny Nansen either but he has been a DC and took Arizona from 102nd (year before he started), 125th (1st year), to 30th in his second season.

Not the answer IMO but I think he would be good. Excellent recruiter and keeps the Samoan pipeline open if Joe is gone.
