I hope we get back to the days where we start worrying about losing assistant coaches rather than pushing them out I guess was the vibe I was going for

No reason you can’t succeed here. You have a good recruiting base and a history/story to tell. Nowadays though if no NIL money that could make it tough.

As a program and fans though it sucks…if D is clicking then our offense sucks or vice versa.

I think it could be a culture issue. Presidents impact things as do Athletic directors. Coach L saved us in basketball but outside of that where have we really improved in any sport that matters at all? Did it start with President DS (won’t even say its name) and continue? Bad Athletic Director hires?

We can win. I hate the portal but it can turn things around quickly. As for Guidry I hope he succeeds. I just know last year we saw no improvement at all so he needed to go. I like UM hiring people if it means loyalty…but Coach MC has to win some kind of championship as he is firing excuses annually
