If they bump him up to DC and a raise he stays. If they don’t then the best move for his career would be to follow the DC. Mario knows all about Monroe and has been on his radar before. I’m sure he’ll push to add him.

Monroe is a really good X’s and O’s guy and excels on the whiteboard. Which is definitely what we needed to prioritize after this year’s safety play.

Wouldn’t surprise me if he gets offered the DC job (at Minnesota) as he’s been waiting his turn since Bowling Green days.

The one area I hope he has improved in would be his technique teaching. Hasn’t always been his strong suit.

Let the dude bring in his guys, period. If he wants to keep someone, that should be his decision. Our defense was god awful so no one on staff should be safe

I’m not an X’s & O’s guy. But my family has season tickets for the Gophers, so I watch them a lot. They just play disciplined ball. Tackle very well. Secondary is never out of position. DL keeps integrity. The run away best player in that defense is the only blue chipper they’ve got in Perich. Not **** per se. But won’t lose you games. GT would’ve been shut down.

Sounds like he’s all about what I’ve been preaching…..DO…..YOUR……JOB. Don’t “fly around and make plays”, cover your assignment and make plays.

I seem to recall another coordinator we hired with only 1 year of Minnesota under his belt.

That coordinator was Mr. Jedd Fisch.

Look, I know nothing about this guy, but on paper Josh Gattis and Kevin Steele looked better than Jedd Fisch and Corey Hetherman.
