Switching to Jordan?More UM good news coming……it’ll leak out eventually ( not coaching )
Maybe next yearSwitching to Jordan?
Safe to say we’re not taking any Minn. DL/LBs from the portal thenThat’s up to the individual player. Beat your man.
are we even chasing the USC OT?USC OT?
I'd also imagine that a DC who professes to want to play fast and simple and aggressive will not, in fact, be requiring many stunts in his game plan.
Any eligibility left?Lmao Jake Ferguson Cowboys TE

Well that did generate quite a bit of excitement.if this is the case, i don't want him. i prefer we plays games late into the fourth quarter only to need a miracle to win at the end. it is more funner that way.
Are you from the future @Memnon ????The Miami Hurricanes have their defensive coordinator. Minnesota defensive coordinator Corey Hetherman will be taking the same position with the Canes.
In games against FBS opponents, Minnesota finished 10th nationally in scoring defense (18.3 PPG), 14th in yards per play (4.7) and 19th in yards per pass attempt against (6.3).
Like Mario Cristobal, the 44-year-old Hetherman comes from the Greg Schiano coaching tree, having coached linebackers at Rutgers from 2022-23.
Hetherman had tremendous success at the FCS level. In 2021, he was named AFCA FCS Assistant Coach of the Year after coordinating James Madison's No. 2-ranked defense in the nation. He also served as Maine's defensive coordinator from 2016-18, leading the FCS in rushing defense, interceptions and fumble recoveries in his final season.
Hetherman is a Massachusetts native who played quarterback at Fichburg State from 2003-06.
As my resident football advisor, I’m going with you and if you like this hire; I’m good with it!For the record, I'm thrilled about the hire & think he's a great DC & defensive mind, which is why he was really one of the only DC's I mentioned/wanted.
But my point overall, is none of that sh*t really matters to this fanbase.
Yall feed on good Coaches & Coordinators like a wild pack of Hyenas. Every. Single. Offseason.
Corey was in big ten. he also looks like an amish serial killer lol
This would make @Rellyrell happyMaybe next year
I’ve heard so many coaches say they learned so much more about football by coaching on the opposite side of their specialty. It makes sense. Just like db’s that play wr. You’re learning the strategy of how they’re attacking you. Which helps you play db.I like that he was a QB and has coaching experience on the offensive side.
Part of being a good DC is understanding what the offense is trying to do.
