Not that it matters but Wisconsin is close to Minnesota and they might not let Hetherman leave

I’d bet my life Mario called Schiano and vetted this dude. Worked for him in 2022 and 2023 coaching linebackers.

I’ll admit I don’t know much about him, he’s only been an FBS DC for a year but it was at the P4 level and the defense was excellent.

5th in the country in yards per play allowed
9th in scoring defense
Defended the pass very well, top 20 in passer rating allowed and yards per pass allowed.
Not very good on 3rd down, 68th in the country.

Didn’t play Oregon or taint in the big 10 but did play Penn state and only gave up 350 yards, which was 70 less than their average.

Interesting. Looking at their schedule, seemed to do a good job. Lost 26-25 to PSU. Kaytron Allen went 7-10 against them, which was his low for the year. Singleton went 13-63.
