I never said he was his guy. They worked together on a successful defense. Miami wants both, and not because they worked together. All I said was it will be nice to get a staff together that doesn’t but heads. These two don’t and have chemistry. Where’s the issue

All of these cheerleaders for this guy clearly know something since they are acting like we just got Ohio Taints DC. I would love to know too.

Potential? Fantastic. But Mario is betting his overpriced head coaching gig on this guy…so what makes him a defensive guru that turns this ship around? I seriously want to know more than just the pom pom bull****. I want kool aid shots in the off-season as well…

If he's a good defensive coordinator here, I don't think we'll hear about issues between the coordinator and the position coaches.

I think that happened with Gattis/Ponce & Guidry/Taylor because both of those guys weren't good coordinators here, and were dead men walking. Coaches under them try to save themselves by letting it leak that they disagreed with the decisions the bad coordinator made. Didn't work for Ponce; might work for Taylor.

Uh oh…I just got a face palm from a #1 Guidry guy. Let’s see where we are this time next year. Hope he isn’t face palming again like when people doubted him with Guidry.

So UM has enough money to pay him more than 1.2 million, and pay 600k to buy out. Good.
UM will always be able to find high level coordinators if they are willing to pay buy outs and not be limited to only interviewing coordinators who aren’t under contract. It basically means every coordinator is affordable.

For the record, I'm thrilled about the hire & think he's a great DC & defensive mind, which is why he was really one of the only DC's I mentioned/wanted.

But my point overall, is none of that sh*t really matters to this fanbase.

Yall feed on good Coaches & Coordinators like a wild pack of Hyenas. Every. Single. Offseason.
