Drop the M and you've got it right...

Good thing we have FAMU first, so we can play a lot of players in the first game. Golden need to find out if new players like Figs can handle the bright lights before uf.

Thankfully, I doubt that is the D come FAU (No way Jenkins loses to facking Highsmith).

But even so, it doesn't exactly give me confidence. There is not much behind the 1s. And there only so much a guy like AQM or Kamalu/Derosier will contribute.

Pray for Gilbert and a miracle I guess.

/or maybe we are overreacting to a meaningless pre camp depth chart

There's no overreacting. Our depth on defense sucks balls.

i am not concerned about lb depth if figs plays ok. gaines, dp, and kirby will be strong. ty cornelius and ambrister have played alot so they are respectable reserves. i am more concerned about the following year when gaines, ty, and possibly dp are gone.

David Perry does sound like he been here a while...prob cuz of Chris Perry (dt) in 2007.

Also at right tackle am i reading it right? Henderson = Flowers = Odogwu...wow for Sunny! Would be a **** move if Seantrel Henderson doesnt start all games n get majority of the minutes tho IMO. Understand the best player plays but I'm sure it would be close and Seantrel stayed for his Sr season and finally got his act together.

LB depth is worrisome but Grace isn't listed yet and I know he has the instincts and talent to push Figs even if he is undersized. Not saying Grace is another Spence or Denzel but I liked the contribution both of those LB's made as undersized freshman and think Grace could provide similar value in that role.

Couple of things...

Depth chart means football is so close you can smell it.... mmmmmmmmmmmm

Jenkins needs to have a consistent fall camp because he could be a difference maker at safety this year with bush, and we need all the help over the top we can get. Not having Telemaque is going to help tremendously in pass coverage. (sorry VT)

Glad to see Perry back on the defensive side of the ball. Hes a big guy and hopefully one day (soon) he will pull it together and really contribute.Guys like Chickillo and Green cannot play the amount of snaps they played last year, or we are in for another long one on the defense.

MY DUDE NATE DORTCH

Although the backup RB's arent exactly world beaters (i have the utmost confidence in Clements just has to prove he can stay healthy) I think the competition for backup RB could be the biggest battle of the fall besides MLB. Crawford is a hungry kid who's talent often goes overlooked. He doesnt have the breakaway speed a back of his size needs to be a great back, but he is explosive and his cuts are sick. Dude needs an opportunity. Clements is going to be the #2 if hes at 100 but thats a big if. 2nd most talented back on the team. Gus Edwards is a big dude and if he has ANY cuts or top end speed at all he could be very dangerous and would be needed to change the pace this season. Danny Dillard is another guy who could surprise some people.

SO SO happy to see Duke still on KR and PR team.

Its close, fellas. Its right around the corner.

I hope this is the last we see of Phillip Dorsett on the PR depth chart.

He's not that good there and he's too valuable as a WR.

Agreed. I have said many times I do not like Dorsett returning punts or kicks. He is fast as **** but he has straight line speed. Hes a great route runner who can get open. No moves though for my dawg.

Hurricane roster includes WR Greg Golden, nephew of the head coach, Al Golden.

Did something change overnight that I'm not aware of? We knew this all summer, also, we are not including any of the freshmen coming in. Guess folks did not see AQM's picture yesterday, kid looks ready. And as one said, he comes from a program that he should give us some very good minutes. We may not be Alabama, but we also play an easier schedule this year.

Wow, seeing that depth chart on defense is a little dose of reality. I sure hope these boys are vastly improved.

Agreed. I think this year gives us all the opportunity to see exactly how much size can help a defense...I'll throw experience in there too but they didn't really improve over the course of the season so it's hard to say that has helped them as a whole
