As much as I appreciate inside info and love recruiting.

I much prefer the player making it to campus and helping us win games.

Flo shouldn't feel the need to give massive hints (whether it ends up being this kid or not) just to prove a point to people that his got real sources.

He rarely does this. He is very discreet - he may generalize about situations he has info on but he rarely, if ever, gives hints like he did here.

He doesn't try to prove anything to anyone. If you don't believe him, that's your perogative. But he's proven to "know stuff" pretty often.

I believe he does have sources and he knows a lot and I don't know if trying to prove he had sources was the reason he felt the need to make it so obvious who it was thats coming...

but whatever his reason for it was doesn't matter. He shouldn't have done it if he cares more about the visit happening than being the person who gets credit for knowing it was coming.

  • There are sources saying Miami has traction here

Ben Hanks Jr
  • Feeling much better about Hanks than VB3
  • Been on campus more than has been reported
  • Advanced CB. Will get early PT. Best chance for PT out of all corners we're recruiting

Gavin Nix
  • A tackling machine, not hyped enough due to his size

Luke Nickel
  • Good QB, waiting until year 2 to eval.

Herbert "Third" Scroggins III
  • Fits our scheme, playmaker. Versatile

Luka Gilbert
  • Matchup nightmare
  • Could be a steal

Amari Wallace
  • Type of recruit you need in every class. Culture fit from a feeder school
  • Will be a playmaker
  • Unsure about his health

Max Buchanan
  • Wait-n-see. Has to be an OG, doesn't like him at Tackle
  • Could be a good guard. Going to be fun to cover
Daylyn Upshaw
  • One of Flo's favorite recruits this cycle
  • Was shaky with Auburn for a minute
  • Polished WR. Ranking is criminal. Many college WRs aren't doing what he's doing in HS

Ezekiel "EJ" Marcelin
  • Pillar of the class. Can run.
  • Another shorter LB

Slot WR
  • Viewer asked can we keep Upshaw and Toney?
  • VB3 the best, Daylyn Upshaw, REALLY good

Tim Merritt
  • Vols trying hard for the flip
  • Criminally low ranking. Incompetence is the only explanation
  • If he visits next week (or vists for any game) he sticks. No visit, he's flipping to the Vols
  • Toney needs work (not as polished as VB3 or Upshaw)

Flo prefaced the OL segment by saying there were 2-3 names he didn't think would end up in the class. Didn't think it was right to say in a public forum which specific ones likely were getting pushed out. Pretty clear that the coaches are recruiting over multiple players currently in the class.
