We can mythologize Emory stretching out and injuring himself to pick up a first down, but the passing game was terrible against FSU. Outside of one lucky completion.

Otherwise, it is the DEFENSE keeping us in games.

Look at On3 recruiting rankings and see what each school is averaging on their NIL deals. The big boys are outspending us by 100k/per kid on average. FSU is outspending us by 50k/per kid. We may have money but we ain’t spending it to win

If true, then UM did everything a$$backwards again- putting money into facilities first then football second. Should have put as much money as possible towards NIL to sign historically great classes. If Miami turned into a perennial playoff team, tv ratings would be through the roof along with merchandise sales and season tickets. The big 2 would be in a bidding war for UM. And on top of that, fans would be donating money to the school more than ever.

We’re absolutely lining this class with low cost recruits. Pickett, for example, wasn’t promised a single $ in NIL.

You must be confusing me with the athletic administration which engages in that behavior on an annual basis my guy.

It’s ok, just sack up and take the fat L. You didn’t think Tyler had the yips, that defenses still respected his throwing ability, yada yada, and went ape **** when I suggested the dude should be benched and Emory needed reps asap.
 
This smells like a start of a power grab and they need to start building a story to fuel it up like the FSU ppp loan stories to try and get that AD fired.

Don‘t forget the dudes that actually sit in the bot and what they tried to do last time. This smells like those ******* rats.

Qb recruiting will be decided by portal - and you know that.

The positions that aren’t going so well are DT and Cb. That’s it. Edge and WR are just as if not more important and are going very well. Even at DT we got Burroughs and Artavius. We are still recruiting the top DTs. Maybe we flip one maybe not. But I also expect us to hit the portal there. CB imo is the bigger issue.

But again I’m sure if you look at all those 13+ guys making more their class likely has some holes too - or will by signing day

Getting quality guys for cheap seems like a good call to me. Someone isn’t a take or not based on how much NIL they get to come here lol.

Holes yes, but their coaching is alot better. Addae is mediocre at best...same goes for Lawson, and "IF" Mario is meddling in the Offensive play-calling, that needs to stop immediately, if not sooner. Our running plays are pure garbage, and our whole Offensive philosophy needs more creativity as a whole.
As @Coach Macho has said, "We need to put the BEST 11 on the field, and we haven't been doing that.

Losing out on top guys in the portal and hs recruiting isn’t a good call though. Mario has the 10th-11th ranked class with ALMOST ZERO investment. The powers that be aren’t living up to their side of the agreement IMO. This program is a dead end again

one has nothing to do with the other. also the idea we have almost zero nil investment in this class is very ridiculous.

maybe, just maybe, its very hard to recruit elite oos dts. Also this is a down year in general for in-state guys.
