Miami is 7-3 ATS this year.
We covered 3+ touchdown spread against a much better Duke team.
Smh We covered vs Dook lolWell, let’s see…VT? Nope. Cal? Nope, GT? Nope, Duke? Nope. If it “most of the time” it sure isn’t by much, and not very much recently for sure.
Who the **** is complaining? Pretty sure it is you.as others have pointed out, you're wrong about duke
and are you complaining about how much we're covering the spread by? who cares if it's "not by much", 7-3 ATS so far this year (VT, Cal, GT are the losses) is excellent and better than most teams can say
As long as our offense regains its regular efficiency, we should be able to cover. We would have easily defeated GT regardless of their running game had we been able to convert third downs and score in the red zone at our regular rate.Duke couldn’t commit to salting away the clock because their running game is garbage.
Wake can eat the clock like GT
FSU scored a garbage time touchdown against our reserves to make the score look closer. The game was long over and the spread covered before thatI forgot we woke up at the end of the Duke game and ended up covering....kind of the same with FSU.
F$U defended our deep passes well.FSU scored a garbage time touchdown against our reserves to make the score look closer. The game was long over and the spread covered before that
A score like 38-20 is very believable. Why are you taking Wake and the under ? I am thinking the exact opposite !

Just like I’m not expecting our defense to miraculously get great after 10 games, I’m not expecting our offense, which has been freakishly efficient for nine games to fall apart after one off afternoon.
Wake is one of, if not the worst pass defense in the nation. Maybe there’s a cheat code against us where terrible defenses can shut us down. Maybe Cam misses fewer easy completions than he did against Georgia Tech. I don’t think it’s quite as simple as “play this coverage and Miami won’t score against you”. I fully expect them to over defend the intermediate/deep passing game. I also expect Dawson/Ward to be able to counter it.GT forced Ward to be disciplined and he couldn’t do it. He can do it in spurts, but he’s more often than not looking deep down field.
GT was a culmination of the book the ACC was writing on Miami all season.
That’s going to be hard to break out of after one bye week.
