Mathis decommits

I do feel bad for any kid committed this long to be dropped. Just as we can’t stand kids who do the opposite it’s such a d!ck move to drop them late.

The only way to really do away with this issue is to not allow kids to commit at all until the start of their senior campaigns....and allow them to sign papers locking them in at that point. Schools would be more careful with their offers and kids wouldn’t commit until they were absolutely ready.

Theya re gonna have to work hard if trying to flip Hyppolite. Just had his Maryland visit this weekend. VISIT HIGH!
He has visit high from watching the team lose 54-7 to Nebraska at home?
Am I missing something? Maybe Maryland is a great schoool with a beautiful campus that I'm unaware of, but nobody on this board would expect a 4* to come here if a visit like that happened.
If he is that high on them it has to exist some connection to the area or staff, even if his thing is early PT he could probably go to a better team and get that

Riggins said something along the lines of "why show loyalty to them when they aint been loyal to us" And the rest of his page is filled with re-tweets of all the other decommit notices.

There’s no loyalty on either side anymore. That’s what happens when you turn it into a business. The only thing that matters from that point forward are results.

I agree it sucks this late but at least the kid is no longer an EE. He may land at Illinois. Also, after ESD there will be a lot of schools looking to fill holes.

Edgerrin Cooper, OLB from Louisiana who we recently offered along with TAMU just decommited from OU. It wouldn’t surprise me if he, Greene or another LB has taken a secret visits to us like Zion did last year.

I could careless who decommits, we only want True Canes on the roster, which is why i never was a fan of the #1 waffler on the team in jw15, and his play reflects that. AGAIN
I could careless about decommits, we only want True Hurricanes here anyway, we dont need waffler's, the #1 waffler on the team is jw15, not sure why coach diaz chose to go with a waffler as the so called leader of the team and his play reflects his mindset. I said when he was named the starter, his waffling *** had a lot of winning to do before i can respect him, and thus far, he's been trash, i was always a perry guy over transfer tate and the transfer wanna be jw15, just so happens, turns out jw15 is either about even or has passed perry in losses as the starter and in less games.
Kosi has had multiple chances to be qb1 here and hasn't rose to the occasion. The jury is still out on JW but Kosi ain't it.

Dropping mathis now seems to suggest to me that 1 of our silents is greene. I know it was mentioned in another thread but this seems to confirm it for me. Maybe they didnt want mathis after seeing his senior film but it seemed like he would keep 1 of the last 2 spots and the other would go to hyppolite if they missed on both flowe and greene. Hope they've picked up contact w/ hyppolite at least for insurance.
Ivins said Greene is not a silent. Neither is Flowe.
