Agreed.I trust the staff knows this kid & knows what they're doing, but it'd be super disappointing to lose this guy by pushing so hard for defense...electric with the ball in his hands.
Correct.While I understand and appreciate the ST example -- iirc his primary recruiter was Don Solidginer, the RB's coach at the time -- ST made it clear he wanted to play Safety, and that is exactly where they put him.
Similar situation with MAR's brother, Ahmmon. He was a beast CB prospect, and probably would be one of our starting CB's right now if that's where he wanted to play. He wanted the ball in his hands.
With a dynamic athlete like MAR, you let him initially call his shot.
