Mark Richards game 1 highlights

Another “cane lock” from this year’s class that we’re holding our breath on.

Yeah I wouldn’t mind having him on offense running like that but we did move a beast offensive talent to safety before by the name of Sean Taylor and it worked out pretty well.

Tell me this doesn’t turn into the following scenario: We recruit Marc all along at Safety; we recruit McIntosh at RB; McIntosh decides to go somewhere else; we suddenly start pitching to Marc that he can come in as a RB; Marc feels some feelings about that; Marc tells the world he feels more comfy at (insert KKK school).

again, just get the kid period. Tell him 100% RB, 100% DB, 50/50 ATH, Jabrill Peppers type role, whatever he wants to hear or whatever needs to be done to have this kid a Cane.

The team he ran against looks like a school for ants.

Any 3 star or above is running all over that team.

You can overcome the competition which did truly suck, but there is no denying kid is elite and is a must get for Richt, it's a legacy and helps build the family, what Richt preaches and players and families buy into.

Remember when everyone was talking about Deejay’s potential being higher on defense.... get him on campus. It’ll work itself out.

Unless we hear it directly from the coaches or the player we don’t know exactly what the coaches have told Richards. I doubt they would lie to him.
Don’t know what other schools would do but I can only imagine.
A lot of question marks at db given we want battle Nunn and Ryque and 2 of those look like they ain’t coming. A lot of smoke about Kenny Mac and the Sooners as well as the debate on weather Quan is a take.
This school has a track record of putting kids in the best position to succeed with the skill set that they have and that is with out question.
Imagine if the 🐐 would be in high school now.
This place would explode trying to figure out where to put him.

Here’s some interviews and the state chip highlights where he basically won the game.

While I understand and appreciate the ST example -- iirc his primary recruiter was Don Solidginer, the RB's coach at the time -- ST made it clear he wanted to play Safety, and that is exactly where they put him.

Similar situation with MAR's brother, Ahmmon. He was a beast CB prospect, and probably would be one of our starting CB's right now if that's where he wanted to play. He wanted the ball in his hands.

With a dynamic athlete like MAR, you let him initially call his shot.
