I mean he did throw 75% more passes than Gronowski that year. In 2023 compared to Cam’s 2021 he threw more TDs per attempt.

Completely different systems and skill sets so pointless to compare

I mean.. look at the scores in those games. A lot of blowouts.

I doubt he’s coming here or even on our radar. If he gets on our radar I’ll watch some highlights and see what he looks like snd report back. I’m curious what he can do myself and what kind of guys he’s throwing to. I really don’t know much about their scheme either.

No. Just because we changed doesn’t mean other teams do. Why do you think QBs like Jalen Hurts and Joe Burrow had to transfer?

SDSU is comparable to UGA or Texas in FCS. They’re winners. You adjust to them, they don’t adjust to you.

I just find it ironic that when I mentioned Mensah as our QB just before he signed with Duke many on here said he sucked, now they want a QB who is considered on par, or below, with Mensah. Can't make this **** up.
 
Reality should be setting in. We should take this kid or someone else we can get that is average at this point. Maybe the player they want jumps in and they get him, but the odds. We should be praying we end up with someone like a Ewers at this point. This thing is closing around us and desperation is becoming reality.

You'd like him to a point. He's not a scrub. Your mileage may vary on if you'd think he's for us, but he can play. He hits some ropes on corners and posts that are put right into the bucket.

2024 team, especially early, these dudes were dropping tons of easy balls (slants hitting dudes right in the mits and they put it on the turf type ****).

haven’t watched much but this is a mediocre option. His stats against ndsu (two games) are bad and the rest are fine with superior talent against inferior talent in the fcs. Nd would be a huge step up and he wasn’t even doing well agaisnt the nd type teams of fcs

I watched the full game highlights vs NDSU. NDSU's qb looks way more polished.

If he's willing to come in and compete for a starting job in the spring, knowing full well we're trying to recruit over him I'd pursue him. Similar to Poff.

We currently have 2 College starts in the QB room.

If he wants a guarantee that he's the starter then he's not the guy.
