Garbage offensively and defensively. Every year they pad their stats early on and get a ton of hype.

What is the obvious part? Perhaps you need to get with the times and understand we're being led by a real coach. Too me it just seems like people are unable to accept the fact that we may be a good team. Maybe people are scared to get emotionally invested in this team.

Where is there evidence, this year, of this behavior?

Look at USF, in the past we score to open up the game and they counter with a score of their own. This usually signaled a dog-fight...except that USF stopped scoring and we raped them. We have a defense now, with PLAYERS who should be playing on a starting defense.

I watched the entire GT v VT game and the only reason GT was in the game was because VT has no offense. Morris looked supremely confident against USF and I expect that to continue, I also expect a big game from Duke. They will score a few, but we roll.

well no not the USF game. they are basically a DII squad.

GT is capable of beating us and has won the ACC under PJ. so it is different than the current USF situation.

maybe you misunderstood what i meant by the beatdown. I'm saying that it looks like we would obviously beat THEM down. in the past we have managed to not do so well in those types of games and yes you are right that i am hesitant to get too emotionally attached considering the pile of **** we've seen for nearly 10 years

this team still has a lot to prove. i am very very happy about what I've seen so far no doubt. but i still fear the let down games in the ACC

Amazing how many posters take this exact approach. It's obnoxious. The funniest thing is that they feel like they're intelligent for doing so. Dude. That was his 2nd year, where we pushed their **** in and us and UGA were their only losses BEFORE they won the ACC and got their **** pushed in a 3rd time against Iowa. Clemson, UGA, us, and VT have had their number since.

Last year....we didn't have Perryman and this year we do. We also have a solid D.

We win by ruthlessness.

you seem to be confused. i didnt ever say anything about us losing to USF. i expressed some concern for GT but think that we SHOULD roll them.

I wonder if we will use a 5 man line at times vs. Ga Tech. That or a 4-3 under essentially putting an OLB as a DE standing up and playing with 2 Lb's. I am confident enough in our secondary to match-up 1-1 man coverage against this throwing attack.
