Yeah, and I think there was more intentionality behind the Guidry-Campanile situation than there is with Candle.

Mario tried to hire Candle in 2022.

Mario tried to hire Guidry in 2012.

That's why I don't think Candle is, himself, the smokescreen. I think the intention is real.

Did anybody post the Sun Sentinel article from a couple of days ago regarding their list of possible DC candidates?

If the turning radius is tight enough, yes.

I'm not sure I understand the "back to square one" posters. Lots of conversations have been held. There are other choices that can be made.

Although my original time frame was ABSOLUTELY about Candle.

It's Thursday now, though, so I'm not as optimistic that the contract gets signed by Saturday. I might need to request a 5-day extension...

This isn't amateur hour. Ben Gates is a professional. Eagles baby. They can see up to 3 kilometers away. They have 20/4 vision 24/7. Do the math. It adds up.

I have not heard that yet, no. I wish I could say yes, but I am losing hope by the hour for a weekend conclusion to our long national nightmare.

Guidry happened fast (though there was some prep work), so right now I'm just hoping that Mario is trying to finalize things soon so he can watch The Super Bowl in peace....

Thanks, I agree he should zero in on his next candidate soon , if he hasn't already.
