They don’t want to hear the thread I’ll make once the season is over.

The evaluations are…not equating to the $$$ spent. I’ll leave it at that.

The reviews for the 2025 have been outstanding.
Patterson, Lyle too. Even the players UM didn’t close on (CJ Bailey, Stewart, Lucas etc) the evaluations have been off the charts.

I don’t understand how you can say it has been off the charts. We have holes everywhere on this team. People continue to grade with a heavy curve when dealing with Miami players. Bell has at least played heavy minutes but he isn’t that good at least not yet. McConathy hasn’t done **** yet. We have had players like OJ that are 100% hits. Bain and CiCi are hits. That said as of this moment the 23 class should be taking over in the two deep and be littered with difference makers right now and it’s debatable at best.

The 2023 class so far has been Meh.
 
Not trying to be mopey!! But this class is underwhelming…

Overall theme on offense, not enough game breakers…
Qb - a- good player, very mobile
Rb - b+ - home run hitter, good contact balance, not big
WR- B+ two good slots, very productive, major potential with Moore

Te - A : probably best players in the class

Ol:,B- probably dropping one d these guys

I do not expect any other elite recruits on offense…

Overall not enough athletes especially in on the back end and Lb
DE - B
Dt - C
Lb - B- nix is solid, central kid is mid
Db - gonna Lose merrit

If we can’t get Wiley, Alford, usc de (forget his name) and hanks. This defensive class is a B at best.

We better do something because what we have isn’t good to cut it . We need about 4 more number 29 and brown . Brown would help a lot but we have zero elite depth not even quality imo

Not a secret. Our DL class so far has been underwhelming but that it a tough position to make a splash early. That’s where we spent the bulk of the money. I’m not too worried yet bc the DEs need a lot of S&C and it takes some time for DTs to get acclimated to CFB.

It’s another reason why we’re going to go into the portal for probably 4-5 DL. Our young guys just aren’t ready yet. There is some potential dead weight in the class but there are a lot of real good evals.

2025 class, otoh….woof

The problem is what do we have in the secondary? Ewald is a jag coming in. Antoine coming off an injury. Hopefully stubbs is a dude, and hopefully Fitzgerald can create turnovers. Basically it's a lot of hope and faith
