Mario is on Joe Rose Show Tomorrow 7 am

Look im not getting into this back and forth with folks wanting to bring up his Bama performance. Just like folks want to throw out the FSU tenure as an anamoly we can throw the Bama game out too.

When Briles has good players his offense works? Fair enough. The scheme isnt proven to even win conference titles yet. Im just in wait and see mode. Like I said, his comparison is "Mike D'Antoni" of college football. Thats not bad. That aint great either.

You can be the greatest play caller of all time, but if you can't win up front, get open, or be accurate with throws, youre not going to win many ball games. I don't understand why you guys can't figure that out. Larry Coker was the greatest of all time OC with the guys he had. Moss, Wayne, Johnson, Shockey, and Franks could get open. Dorsey was brilliant, and the line kept him clean and extended plays. Briles is a competent offensive coordinator, but he's not God. Coaching is important, but it's not the ultimate factor.

So u’re good w/ that? I think u’re missing the point that maybe Joe isn’t the problem. As a Bears fan, trust me when I tell u when an “offensive” minded coach is leading ur team & it’s subpar offensively, there’s a good chance that the HC is the problem.
No, I'm not good with it - but I'm stating that an OC who picked up the reigns 6 days ago did no worse than Brady.

Rhule isn't an offensive minded HC. He's a CEO HC who relies on his Co-ordinators. . I also don't think he's the problem - he needs to get a good OC in and continue to acquire talent. That said, he'll be fired next year if he ***** up the OC hire again.

Maybe, just maybe if they drafted better and had someone besides a Jets castoff, and a broken down version of a running QB, he might be successful. He clearly needs better groceries.

Some of the Oregon guys might be after the bowl. There’s a chance some more are coming. Not sure how they’ll handle that, but it’s common for schools to wait until signing day is over before coaches leave for other jobs. Oregon coaches are coaching the bowl.
Mirabal, McClendon, Salave'a, potentially Chance? Sounds like Mastro to Nevada?
