If you can’t see that 22>21 then I don’t know what to tell you. Brick by brick, we are building champions of life and winning more football game. How you do anything is how you do everything and we are doing one more.I feel like every offseason for 5 or 6 more years we're going to be saying, "This is going to show us if Mario can do it or not."
Slip and Slide Manny vs Pound podium Manny.Manny and Mario are definitely different type of guys but like you’re saying, if it ends up in the same place then who cares? With this investment we need to be significantly better than we were with Manny and it hasn’t happened yet
From “I knew everything I needed to know about Al Golden” in the Maryland game to 8 years of Mario talking about how he built FIU and Oregon to stardom and if not for Manny and Banda he could be a starI feel like every offseason for 5 or 6 more years we're going to be saying, "This is going to show us if Mario can do it or not."
Why?
This is an ignorant post.
You know what advantage Mario brings? The people with all the money at Miami he is tight with.
You want to see a completely irrelevent program like weve been past 20 years? Send Mario packing. If Mario isnt successful here, then good luck.
Miami was butter soft on a warm summer day when Mario got here. Mentally and physically. Terrible culture. 6'1 290 OL, devoid of real talent. He is trying to build Miami up to a top 10 program in a world that is run by SEC and BIG 10. His job has gotten harder.
I know this, in last 2 years we havent been beaten in trenches much at all when it was a regular occurance prior to him. Physically we hold up and beat most anyone we play at LOS. So I would say he has brought some advantage.
Manny would never have made it through 2020 without Lashlee. He brought D’Eriq King and saved Manny’s job. When Lashlee took the SMU job after 2021, we would have been totally screwed with Manny and no offensive coordinator to bail him out.Not a Mario apologist, but let's not forget that Rhett saved Manny in 2020 after we couldn't score a point in the bowl game against Louisiana Tech in 2019. Manny and Mario are not a 'trade off' in terms of talent accumulated.
Attacking the DB's is popular as our reason for swiss cheese D, but weak LB play since pedo state tie guy was here has been atrocious and can't be overlooked. Slow, missed tackles, and can't play sideline to sideline or do much beyond blitzing.
ThisAnd that is pathetic and also proves that nothing has really changed with the administration at Miami. Very few, if any, are hoping Mario fails. He does that all on his own. He is not Manny - where people legit rooted against him from the jump because Mario did not get the job. The majority here want wins above anything else and do not really care who the head coach is.
It would be nice for Mario to win. It is a great story. That is in his hands, but as the OP points out, he adds very little value.
No idea Mario posted in here.If you can’t see that 22>21 then I don’t know what to tell you. Brick by brick, we are building champions of life and winning more football game. How you do anything is how you do everything and we are doing one more.
You know…We could do, and have done, a lot worse.
You know…
You summed it up rather brilliantly. I chuckled as you reminded me of another great “porster”…

You’re right, flaws and all.We could do, and have done, a lot worse.
It won't be too much until Trinton starts 11 consecutive threads about it.He's 3 years into a 10 year contract. Nothing is going to happen, so why even fret over it?
Because they’d be playing in the playoffs? You’re right, flaws and all.
To top it off you got some guys who would not be entertaining playing in the bowl game if they were playing at another program or for someone else.
The sky is not falling.
No, as in many see the game as worthless and you have team leaders who see it otherwise. Positive reflection on the staff and program relative to what that ****hole program to the north experienced last season.Because they’d be playing in the playoffs?
Not a Manny apologist but you just described him making a superior decision as the HC.Not a Mario apologist, but let's not forget that Rhett saved Manny in 2020 after we couldn't score a point in the bowl game against Louisiana Tech in 2019. Manny and Mario are not a 'trade off' in terms of talent accumulated.
