You may be right and I could be making a mistake, but I am going to go with my guy and what I think the best route is. Also FYI, journalism is not my long term goal.

Huh? That's just a terrible way to view things. I'm not saying you're being held to journalistic standards (obviously), but your statement makes everyone here say these interviews are pointless. Don't ddo them is that's your philosophy. Truly, that was an embarrassing comment by you.

The interviews are not pointless, I’m just not asking about 16 year olds Instagram posts. There is plenty of info gained in these interviews without asking questions that I think are counterproductive.

Got it. So you're confirming these interviews are pointless. No one is asking you to be Woodward and Bernstein. But these superficial interviews do nothing to advance any story. But I appreciate you letting us know to not pay attention as these stories as they hold no water. They're just being used as filibuster to create content.

@Matthew_Suero I appreciate the interview & understand why you wouldn't try to press the kid with tough questions.

As for yall give Matt a break don't always be so **** critical, you can't expect for him to grill the kid, if you read the interview there's clearly enough info presented for us to know all we need to know about Rosemy.

Yall shoot the messenger way too much on here. Why would he ask him about that comment he made? We all know what he posted & why, what more do you need to know about it? What are yall so ****ed about? It's more than obvious Rosemy ain't coming, the staff sniffed it out & cut ties early because they saw the writing on the wall.

What I hope happens going forward is the STA hype train slows down drastically on here, we need to stop always kissin up to those kids so much. Obviously, there's always going to be good players from other schools that transfer to STA but unless it's a situation like with McArthur Avery Huff where it's clear we lead for the player, we should stop amping them up all the time.

Regarding this whole Rosemy affair, this is my take away. We have to stop wasting time on kids when there is little to no chance of them coming, but there is a great chance of them making us look to be the fool. It’s a waste of resources, and it also projects a terrible loser third rate image of Miami.

Nobody asked him to grill the kid! He’s acting like we said ask him, “Why the **** you talking bout Miami like that?” The kid said himself Miami isn’t really reaching out, he could have followed up with, “well do you think it’s because you said x,y,z and Miami felt upset by that”

Regardless he wasn’t up to asking that and it’s fine. However, don’t exaggerate like we saying to interrogate him
