exactly. these kids aren't that clever. no need for the adults in the room to play down to their level.

a kid wants to be recruited? that's fine

kid wants love? no problem

a kid wants you to show him why he should sign with you? that's fair and expected

BUT …. a kid just wants you to fondle his nuts? Then he deserves to get his kicked to the curb. Fack him and his distorted sense of self importance.

That kind of kid is not one who will help you win a championship. Adios.
 
You guys need to calm down and listen to the kid. Since he wants us to text him more and show him “more love”, we should appease him. Every night between 2-5 am we should text him the “Hey big Head you still interested???” Followed by a stream of endless ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Emojis.

Only one endgame here: bash this front runner in the comments, which im cool with, but OP should have known better to throw chum to the sharks. What did he expect us to say? I can't find one reason this has any substance to a Miami fan & needs to be on the recruiting board. Don't even give him the time of day to get discussed here.

He could have committed, could have said he's open to the new hiring, staff let's a kid play him it gives other kids leeway to do the same, its something we need to stop

I think it’s kinda clear that they don’t think he is seriously considering UM and just wants to waste the coaches time. In the past we would fall for that and waste a tremendous amount time when it was obvious that the kid wasn’t serious. Maybe we are doing a better job reading the situation.
Just a guess.

So what. He was kind of right, we were dead under CMR and his nonsense culture. That's why there was a lot of pressure on him to resign or make staff changes. No matter what, you keep recruiting a talent like this.
