Where did you grow up? I was born and raised in Erie. My dad is a Penn St alum. One of the reasons I’m a Canes fan today lolAllow me to clarify:
I grew up 4 hours from State Penn. I've had friends, family and everyone else run their mouths to me about Miami for 30+ years, which is fine. I had no problem telling them to eat a bag of ****s in the context of sport.
When the Nevin Shapiro **** dropped it went to another level. Imagine every biased, bull**** negative narrative said about Miami on steroids, as if me being a fan of the University of Miami was an indictment on me as a person. A lot of people spoke to me as if they had some moral high ground to stand on because Kellen Winslow got a free lap dance. It was mind-boggling and it got old, quick.
When Jerry Sandusky happened, I didn't rush to spike the football because I'm not a mouth-breather who's livelihood hinges entirely on whether my favorite CFB wins or loses. It wasn't about sports; I can't think of a more heinous act than child rape and most of my friends who are PSU alums/fans felt the same way - they were disgusted and embarrassed.
But some of those same mother ****ers who couldn't say "Thug U" enough when Miami came up, some of those ******** were defiant. "Poor JoePa, it's not fair. It had nothing to do with football". Calling for the University Miami to drop football over a boat ride while taking a bullet for a man who turned a blind eye to child rape...yeah, **** those guys. Thats a stain I won't ever let them forget about.
Nows when miami goes to the big 10. Gosh Michigan and OSU would destroy Manny. Maybe run and throw 2000 yards one gameB1G Offensive Coordinators like...
So he isn't going to get hired.https://bleacherreport.com/ articles/1203637-vanderbilt-coach-requires-assistants-to-have-hot-wives
"I've been saying it for a long time, I will not hire an assistant coach until I've seen his wife. If she looks the part, and she's a D-1 recruit, then you got a chance to get hired. That's part of the deal.
"There's a very strong correlation between having the confidence, going up and talking to a women and being quick on your feet and having some personality and confidence and being fun and articulate, than it is walking into a high school and recruiting a kid and selling him."
Mack Brown doesn't.Manny’s bottom ***** Kendal Brorles disagrees

Coaching contracts typically have a Duty to Mitigate clause that requires the former coach to seek active employment at a position and a pay scale commensurate with their experience. It does not matter if it is an on or off field position any $ earned would offset the buyout amount owed. Teams have sued former coaches for sand bagging it and not working or getting paid below market rate see Bret Bilemma and New England Patriots being sued by Arkansas. Now there are certainly examples of coaches getting 100% buyouts with no duty to mitigate clause but I'm doubtful Miami gave Manny that kind of a sweetheart deal. I know I wouldn't have.Correct me if I'm wrong...
Buyout money only decreases if he takes an on-field job. So for example, Shoop is still being paid his buyout $$$ because he took an analyst job. Would be the same for CMD
I sadly actually believe this even tho ik its sarcasm (hopefully)He’s already texted current players to tweet” bring manny to Happy Valley”
What linebackersGood. Then they will get to experience the pain of watching LB's rarely filling a gap. And if they do fill a gap, it will be the wrong one.
“with an emphasis on linebackers”
