1. UF and FSU have a larger fanbase and will always recruit well no matter how their years go. you have to be a dud to not bring in a top 15 class there yearly.
2. Miami finished 3 spots higher than FSU and 6 higher than UF with the 3 game losing streak miami had that took some momentum away.

I just gave you a slight rundown of our recruiting tactics versus other big time programs. If a kid/father says that another program did a better job of covering details and/or showing love THAT'S A LEGIT ISSUE. What does that have to do with covering bases?

I'm literally telling you that other programs are doing a better job of recruiting our local kids.

From what I can tell so far this recruiting class Miami is doing just fine, long way to go but so far I’ve seen a lot worse. Other than that what I hear is a narrative (from one person which isn’t much of a sample size) that Miami doesn’t kiss a kids *** as much as another program more so than covering bases as you like to call it.

I can’t get into the specifics cause I don’t see first hand how this staff operates on a broad recruiting level and no one knows how the product will look on the field but this reeks of emotional bias much more so than what you call a legit issue. But we’ll find out soon enough.

Miami: 90.99
FSU: 90.91
UF: 90.75

OSU: 94.29
Bama: 91.94
UGA: 94.23

Keep in mind Bama fans were FURIOUS about that class.

Congrats on your ability to recognize 4 incompetent coaches. Yes we have seen quality recruiting classes from those 4 incompetent staffs of the past. However, that does not take away from the fact that top talent was and is being brought in. The critical variable has yet to be confirmed. Which is competence and ability to coach.

It also isn't correct. The fact that Richt couldn't capitalize on both teams being down shows how terrible a recruiter he really was.

Diaz may be another failure of a HC. I don't know, I'll be in wait and see mode. That being said, macho is always full of it. Remember when Dorito was out there giving us a "Miami defense" because we looked aggressive against FCS teams? Macho is out here talking to Harris' dad who we all know is chasing bags. We already heard other recruits talk about how the staff is watching film with them, talking to them daily, showing the family love, etc. You're better than this.

Doesnt mean I believe it all remember these are opinions and what people r telling him. The info that comes from a parent im not believing that but hes sharing it. I do question our receuiting high caliber players but im giving them the whole season and im on board and like some of the things there doing. Not all the things but some.
