I've received first hand accounts that he ain't it.USC fans claim he was 3rd/4th on the depth chart before he got injured.

“When the victim no longer has fresh blood, the ticks must find a new host on which to feed.”Ya’ll are gonna hype this kid up next. We need a ready made product at QB, not this kid smh.
He was a true freshman last year, so that wouldn’t surprise me.USC fans claim he was 3rd/4th on the depth chart before he got injured.

You’re probably right, but there was also the injury question. USC was in a lot of shootouts so we never really got to see their backup quarterbacks. Until we saw Miller Moss in the Holiday Bowl. Either way, Nelson isn’t going to be a Cane so it doesn’t really matter.Yeah but the reports are that he’s been underwhelming. Sorry but the best qb in the class should be better than he’s been. Jmo
I watched that. It wasn’t a talent issue he’s not ready and had a shoulder injury which hampered his development. Hes a true freshmen relaxI remember Josh Pate saying in a show that Malachi was FAR from being ready to play. Made it seem like he wasn't as good as advertised.
Yea, cause it ain't gonna be hereNelson was overrated; he has tools, but he needs time to develop. Hoping the young man pulls a Moore, & go somewhere where he can sit behind a vet and learn vs. trying to be QB1 b4 being ready.

I’d love to get Howard AND Nelson….gets us through next year and gives us a QB to go against Emory ( I think JB is gone) to hold things down until Luke Nickel is ready…
I agree. I’d take him as a 2nd QB, but we need a high confidence starter.Ya’ll are gonna hype this kid up next. We need a ready made product at QB, not this kid smh.
... washes away the tears, and all the pain. After the rain?
