30 schollies over a 4 year period, 4-5 years probation, 500k - 1 million fine, 2-3 year bowl ban, and a crap load of show of causes. This is my guess; however, that is a long time down the road, we won't hear that for about another 6 months. The LOA will only list the allegations.

No trollin' on the football board.

We skate.

Ain't trolling. I am serious, I think that is what we get. I have been saying it for a while. I would love that we skate, and I think those would be manageable. The only one that I am on the fence about is possibility of a 3 year bowl ban instead of a 2 year ban, and for that reason I say we self impose and hope for only 2 so that kids can't transfer out.

Without knowing what the allegations are, let alone what can be proved, how can you think anything in particular is what we will get. You are making a wild guess... Here is a list of all schools that have received more than 2 year "bowl bans." Do you know what each school did to earn the "bowl bans"? If I have time, maybe I'll let you know later today.

Auburn '58-'60
Houston '66-'68
Indiana '60-'63
K State '70-'72
Miami '54-'56
Mich. St. '76-'78
NC State '56-'59
OK St '89-'91
Penn St. '12-'15
Tulsa '70-'72
UCLA '56-'58

First, I can think anything I want. I am thinking it will be something between USC/OSU. They have repeated stated the intention of escalating penalties due to rash of occurrences, so looking at what was done may not be as wise as one may think. The second part is Miami has the perception of being a repeat offender, which doesn't bode will for the ones listed either. The next reason is the volume of incidents and fact coaches are believed to be involve, not the size of each incident, but the shear volume of incidents.

Lastly, because I think that is the worst we could get out of it and in my mind prepared for; if we get less, then I am happy. I am prepared for the worst.

Just think about the fact that its a "random website noones heard of" yet these big beat writers are going to high ranking university officials to confirm. My ***** dmoney got connections bro.

Funny part is there are probably more participants on this board than what listens to him.

The Notice of Allegations is usually sent via UPS.

Have they heard of email?

Not big fans of PDF I guess

They'll use the testimony of a convicted con artist serving a 10 year federal prison sentence . . . . but they won't try Adobe? SMDH at these clowns

they did find some of it to be true as there are a number of former players talking. of course the two everyones heard publicly are kyle wright and tyrone moss. just hoping its not hundreds more former players confirming some of the stuff

so you're thinking we gon get raped.

Fwiw if we get worse then USC no one will ever again cooperate with the NCAA. I think it's a possibility however. The NCAA just suspended 2 FR bball players because their legal guardian donated $185 to Indiana over a 20 year period and that made him a "booster."

I have not seen any information stating that Moss spoke to the NCAA. Additionally, even though he was killed on this board, I have not seen any credible information that Wright spoke with the NCAA. The information that was feared to have come from Wright (because he was the only student athlete aware of the information) could just as easily have come from Sean Allen (the excerpt below is from an article that came out long before there was any insinuation that Wright spoke to the NCAA):

The NCAA asked Allen about at least two trips that Allen claims he, Huyghue and UM quarterback Kyle Wright took to the Bahamas and, on another occasion, to Detroit for a Snoop Dogg concert in 2005 when Wright was a sophomore.

Compare that to what the "Sports Buzz" piece said about Wright:

Some of the damaging details given to the NCAA were known by only one former player (Kyle Wright). Those details involved benefits given to Wright by the Shapiro/Michael Huyghue sports agency and weren't given by Huyghue in his deposition to Shapiro's attorney. That has led to suspicions among some that Wright spoke to the NCAA, which he he wasn't required to do.

And as I said earlier, this info is not coming from Miami.

Hey D-Moni,

Could you give us a Hypothetical timeline of what happens next if this were to be true........

Obviously, I'm not DMoney, but I do know how this stuff works...

If UM received the NOA on December 1, there might be a decision on sanctions by about June, but probably later. Enforcement has 30 days from sending the COI to make all evidence it intends to use at the hearing available to UM. UM gets 90 days to respond the NOA. The parties then have 30 days to convene for a prehearing conference. Enforcement then has to give a case summary to COI within 14 days before the hearing (hearings are only held 6 times a year). The COI's decision will take at least 6 weeks, but probably longer (the decision in the UNC case took 4.5 months). If the decision takes as long as UNC's did, the UM will learn its sanctions around the beginning of next football season (September).
