Maason Smith 2.0

How far a drive is it for him and the family to go visit UM. Probably too far and I don’t expect them to hop on a plane during a pandemic. Hope we can land him but we’re probably running 3rd.
Its roughly 924 miles from Miami to Baton Rouge. At 75 mph you can go 100 miles in 1 hr and 20 min. So just over 12 hrs with pit stops. My guess is you would have 4 pit stops adding an additional hour and a half putting you close to a 14 hr drive. Push that speed up to 85 you might take off an hour to an hour and a half. Roughly speaking of course. I also didn't add any kind of traffic mishaps.

Kirby doesn't deserve that title. Its not that hard to look at which kids have 5 stars next to their names and have your boosters open up their pocket books for them. **** level the playing field at Bama and things would likely look a lot different too. Those cats aren't out there finding diamonds in the rough.
Saban is a very good evaluator and so is Kirby... For one example, Eric Stokes (Kirby) Will Anderson (Saban)

i think at certain positions hes good but saban at every level is pretty good, maybe corner is his weak area but with his fronts all u need is athletic guys who can run. Also hard to find true cover corners in this time

Which one of the 5 qbs they’ve played this year (or portal qb X) will be turning into joe burrow over the summer?

I’m not saying we are 2019 lsu, but neither is 2020-2021 lsu. In fact, if king and the Vegas boys decide to run it back, 2021 Miami is probably closer to 2019 lsu than 2021 lsu is.

And if King doesn't stay, we may have Kosi starting lol

Hahahaha good **** man. So he won’t be making a trip down lol

Dennis Erickson... before he had to fire eddy for getting drunk and head butting a guy in a bar, or something, allegedly.
Good ol' eddy did much, much worse than getting drunk and head butting a guy. There is a reason why he would never get a sniff in any capacity at UM -- and for good reason.

Yeah some family friends of my dad drove to NOLA from around Pinecrest and it took them more than 14 hours I believe. So I guess 13-14 hours depending on the speed, # of pit stops, etc.

I was a student at Miami during their tenure. Let's just say both were regulars at Bill & Ted's and willing to engage in frank conversation after a few pints. Dennis also had a few interesting episodes at Christy's...

They are both lucky that all of those incidents took place before social media...
