If there are literally ANY personnel changes in the back, I think we'll look better - from a tendency perspective alone.
 
Lacy opting out of the season told me all I needed to know about Louisville’s mindset.

They don’t give af anymore. Same with UCF after losing to Colorado and seeing all the portal entries they’ve had.

That’s not to excuse our defense (or lack thereof), because obviously this doesn’t look great. But it is what it is, we know the offense will have to score 35+ every game in order for us to win. Nothing has changed.

I mean UVA held Louisville to sub 25, everyone has handled Cal’s anemic offense, etc. This isn’t some revelation. We know our defense is very average to bad for P4 standards, and heavily relies on a pass rush to produce turnover-worthy plays.

Not missing the point. I am one of the people on the front line of the "our defense has been ***" squad.

However, people in here pleading for Louisville to win as if they aren't watching a ******* Friday Night College Football Game
 
Does Brooks have another year of eligibility ?

May wanna test the waters w him and entice him to come home. He'd make more here than he would as a 3rd or 4th rounder.
