Louisville defense has been weak against running QBs

Start passing early and put up points. In this case the pass opens up the run game. Running early only puts us in 3rd and long situations.
The gods gave us Cam Ward for one year…pass the friggen ball.

All depends on how they want to defend us. Every game other than Cal, defenses have stack the box and dared us to throw. We ripped off chunks of yardage in the Cal game running the ball to start. After the defense **** the bed we were forced to throw. We can be multidimensional on offense if necessary.

Just enough to keep the defense honest when they fail to account for him and pick up the easy 5-10 yards. Cam is smart he’s been great about finding the sideline and getting down before contact

Agreed. He shouldn't be run first, but when the easy 5-10 yds are there and nothing is open, take it instead of waiting and then forcing a pass into coverage.
