Someone on 247 mentioned that the Bama LB Sterling Dixon is Pruitt’s cousin. Not sure if that is accurate but reading the Bama board about him, seems that he is talented sideline to sideline hitter but undersized (sounds like Pruitt huh) and struck behind some talented dudes.

yes, was brought up during Pruitt's recruitment at the time as well. Few articles out there of Dixon & Pruitt talking about their dream to play together at Bama as kids. Pruitt was also clear despite their dream, he wanted to find his own fit.

I don't think they're asleep at the wheel. More like they played chicken last year and won, this year they veered off the road and crashed into a tree. The question now is what is their backup plan. Because ever since Mateer declared for OU, it's been a hot mess.

I'm just saying that they had a plan without a backup plan. Now that Plan A failed, they're scrambling. But there's no way they're asleep.
