If you wanna get picky about WR I get that, but almost every top receiver that has visited and picked other spots for reasons it sounds like isn’t QB.

I don’t know if I would call our portal handling amateurish as a whole. We beat out UGA and other big programs for some really good DBs, which was a critical need

Ya it’s been ok . We have taken quality players.

Still only have 4 Safeties on the roster unless they plan on moving Damari there.

We now have 3 good corners (Brantley is injured so who knows), then Karnley is 4 (is he even playable?), Richard (injured and won’t be ready), and then 2 freshmen (1 also coming off a torn ACL)

We should have at least 1 more safety and 1 more corner by now. Doesn’t look like there’s even another consideration to bring more in either

A LB that can play the run and pass. And I know what they're hoping will happen with the young DL but they're young we could've absolutely used Silver along with the other guy can't be afraid to run guys off to make the team better. It's the things that you won't see until the season starts like the Nickel position this year lol it doesn't take but I missing piece to derail everything. The worse thing you can do is not learn from past mistakes

Lucas?

I’m sure if they feel the need we can def find another option in spring. I’m just trying to make the point, this portal has not been a disaster as OP made it seem.

Definitely not a disaster. Ya I’ve basically counted Lucas out at this point until I see him in the portal. Hope it comes to fruition though and hope he’s the plan at Safety. Not entirely sure he’s a corner and we need more help at Safety.

One of Lucas/Damari have to move to safety.

Right. Not saying it's a disaster but for the money that's been afforded to this era this is not the look of a program that has it's ducks in a row. Basically what I'm saying is "To whom much is given much is expected". And I dont expect to be looking for a QB every January
 
Everyone knows what the options left are at QB. The board hates them all so QB is a failure. Their is no argument that they completely screwed themselves at QB. We just have to wait for the meltdown. Replacing Restrepo was a top priority besides QB. 2 years they haven’t found a true nickel. We are praying desperately come the Spring portal for these spots. QB's in Spring, come on. Otherwise, things are moving well with the portal. They did very well retaining talent.

3 Top 100 Transfers:-James Brockermeyer (37 NATL, 5 IOL)-

hasn't Richard always been more of a safety?
